"Has anyone seen the queen? It's unlike her to be late," The minister of spring asked. "No." "I havent." "She was in her office last." The ministers all looked around at eachother. Someone had to go find her. Just as they were about to decide who it would be, Lord Milori walked in. They all stared at him. "Uh, I'm only 5 minutes late," Milori defended. Sunflower said, "The queen isn't here yet." Milori stood in his spot, "Okay?" The ministers all stared at him. "You have to go get her," Redleaf told him. "Why does it always have to be me?" Milori semi-complained. Everyone looked at him confused. "Because she is your wife, not ours," Snowflake pointed out. Milori nodded, "Oh right. I forgot about that." The ministers were all still staring at him. "I'll be back in a few minutes."
Milori walked out of the room and towards Clarions office. He opened the door to see her asleep on her desk. Milori laughed lightly as he walked over towards her. He calmly said, "Luv, it's time to wake up." Clarion shifted slightly and let out a groan. Milori laughed to himself and poked her. "Wake up." Clarion turned her head to opposite way so she was facing away from him. Milori rolled his eyes and continuously poked her. "Stop poking me," Clarion mumbled. "Luv, you're late for a meeting," Milori said plainly, still poking her. Clarions head shot up from the desk, "Why didn't you say that from the start!?" Milori put his hands up, "I was trying too." Clarion rolled her eyes and flew over to a mirror hung on the wall.
She easily fixed a few strands of hair that were out of place. Milori was walking around the office touching random objects, throwing them into the air, then catching them. "Will you stop that?" Clarion asked grabbing a paper from the desk. Milori said, "Ree, it's fun." Clarion looked up at him, "You're going to break something." Milori joked, "I've already broke my wings." Clarion rolled her eyes at him. "Oh my lord, where is that other paper!?" Clarion asked herself. "I'm not sure, luv," Milori answered. "Milori, that joke is so old," Clarion responded laughing lightly. "It's still funny." Just as he said that Clarion had found the paper, "I got it. We can go now." They walked out the door and started down the hallway.
"Queen Clarion! Wait!" Clarion and Milori turned around to see Tinkerbell and her whole friend group. Silvermist flew up, "You forgot your crown!" Clarion was shocked to see them. Judging from how Tinkerbell was reacting, they didn't think they would get caught spying on the royal couple either. "Fly for it!" Vidia whisper screamed. The whole friend group went in opposite directions. Most went out the window at the end of the hall. The water fairy was the only one who stayed. She hadn't heard them. Silvermist handed the crown to Lord Milori with a smile on her face. Clarion smiled at Silvermist, "Thank you! I would've forgotten it." She smiled at the queen, "It's okay! We all forget things. I do all the time."
Milori and Clarion laughed lightly. "I should get going with my friends," Silvermist turned around to see no fairy. "Hm, I forgot where they're at." Milori said, "I think I saw them fly out that window." Silvermist nodded, "Ohh, they must've forgot doors exist...." Clarion smiled slightly. Milori responded, "Probably. We all forget things." Silvermist nodded in agreement. "Yeah. I forgot my talent one time." Milori held back his laughter and Clarion looked at her slightly worried. "Well, just for a reminder you can leave out that door there," Milori pointed to one at the end of the hallway. Silvermist said, "Oh, Thanks!" Clarion smiled, "Thank you for my crown." Silvermist smiled back at her. "Okay, Bye bye," she waved and flew out the window.
Clarion and Milori stood for a moment in silence. "Did she forget there was a door again?" Milori sarcastically asked. "I think she might've," Clarion answered. Milori threw her crown up and caught it lightly. Clarion tried to grab it from him but he kept it out of her reach. "May I have my tiara back please?" Clarion asked defeated. "Since you asked so nicely, yes," Milori answered. He gently sat the crown on her head and fixed it so it was perfectly straight. "There! Now you look like a queen." "I wonder why," Clarion joked. "We should probably head to the meeting," she said. Milori groaned, "We don't have to." "We are already late enough, dear. Lets not keep them waiting much longer."
Milori groaned as Clarion dragged him along towards the meeting room. He had his arm around her waist and she was leaning into him slightly. "I hope I dont fall asleep in this meeting...." he mumbled under his breath. Clarion rolled her eyes, "Thats why I fell asleep beforehand." "I get it, Ree. You're smarter than me." Clarion smiled, "It's about time you admitted it." Milori shot her a playful glare and opened the door to the meeting room. Clarion entered first followed by him.
"I'm terribly, terribly, sorry for being late!" Clarion apologized. It was obvious she felt guilty. She was almost never ever late. "It's alright your highness, we were just discussing what colors the poppy flowers should be this spring," Hyacinth informed. Milori mumbled, "I'm going to fall asleep." He shut the door and the meeting started.
