The Royal Life (Milarion one shots)

Chapter 35:

Clarion was sitting next to Milori at the border. It was 3 days after the freeze. They were enjoying comfortable silence. Clarion had her head resting on his shoulder and his arm was around her waist. "I give it five days," Milori randomly said. Clarion looked at him questionably, "Five days till what?" "Five days till Tinkerbell comes up with a safe way to cross the border." Clarion thought for a moment, "I give it a week." Milori said, "Luv, I think you're underestimating them." Clarion shook her head, "I'm not." He rolled his eyes and slightly nudged into her. They went back to sitting and enjoying eachothers company.

"Milori?" Clarion asked looking at him. He turned so he was facing her, "Yes, luv?" Clarion bit her lip not sure if she wanted to ask her question. Milori noticed her reaction and said, "Ree, you can ask me anything. You know that." She slightly smiled at him. After a moment she asked, "Did you ever go out with another fairy? After we had to say goodbye?" Milori was silent and looking at her for a moment. Clarion backtracked, "Its perfectly fine if you did! We weren't exactly together. I didn't expect you to never get over me. You can tell me, it's okay!" She looked at him waiting for an answer. Milori started smiling and laughed lightly. He shook his head, "No, luv. I didn't." Clarions mouth fell open, "You could've just said that from the start!" She nudged into him. Milori smiled and said, "It was fun to see your reaction when I didn't answer right away."

Clarion rolled her eyes at him. Milori asked, "I'm waiting for your answer. Did you go out with any other fairies?" Clarion didn't answer right away and pressed her lips together. Milori knew she was being stubborn. He poked her in the side and she started laughing. He raised and eyebrow and started tickling her. Clarion was giggling and trying to squirm free. Milori said, "Answer my question and i'll stop." Clarion between laughs said, "Never!" He finally let up from tickling her. Clarion glared at him with a smile on her face. He pulled her so she was sitting on his lap. Clarion leaned her head on him and yawned. Milori kissed her forehead, "Its past someone's bedtime." Clarion smiled and shook her head no. She mumbled, "The answer to earliers question, it was no, I didn't go out with another fairy...." Milori smiled slightly at her.

"Luv, you should get some sleep," he told her. She looked up at him and said, "Sleeps boring. I don't need sleep." He raised an eyebrow, "You do too need sleep. I'm slightly scared of you when you're sleep deprived and cranky." She shot him a playful glare, "I am not scary when I'm cranky." He said, "Uhuh. Sure, Ree. Not at all." She rolled her eyes. Milori was playing with her hair and twirling it around. Clarion let out another yawn. She didnt want to leave Milori's side. They had already spent enough time apart.

She told, "I'm going to go to sleep now." Clarion nuzzled into him and wrapped her arms around his neck. Milori gave her a weird look. Milori asked, "Right now?" She nodded her head, "Yes. I did just say that, didn't I?" Milori said, "Yes, you did. I was just making sure I heard you correctly." Clarion smiled and shut her eyes. She whispered, "I love you." Milori smiled, "I love you too, Ree." Clarion fell asleep in his arms. Milori was smiling and looking down at her.

He didn't want to wake her, yet he didn't want to fall asleep with her at the border. He knew scout fairies would find them in the morning and It would be all over Neverland. He decided he would take her back to her room. He stood up with her in his arms. Clarion shifted a little but remained asleep. Milori managed to make it to her room without being seen. The fact that it was 10:30pm helped. Milori quietly opened the door and walked inside. He shut it behind him while still carrying her. He walked over and gently sat Clarion down in the bed. He pulled the covers over her and tried to take her arms off from around his neck, they wouldn't move.

Milori tried again. This time he looked down to see Clarion smiling while trying to keep her eyes shut. He rolled his eyes and smiled at her. Clarion opened her eyes and smiled at him. Milori leaned down and kissed her. When he pulled away, he started to walk towards the door. Clarion grabbed his arm and whined, "Noo, don't go! Stay here." Milori nodded his head and went to lay next to her. She was cuddled right by his side. Her head was resting on his chest while his arm was around her waist. She shut her eyes and whispered, "Don't leave me." Milori smiled and whispered, "I'm not going anywhere." A few moments later, Milori whispered, "I love you." She mumbled half asleep, "I love you too." Clarion got closer to his side and fell fast asleep. Milori fell asleep not long after her.
