Third Person's POV

'𝘝𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭 𝘮𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘯.'

Jake exited the site.

'Are they 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 bad? Why is almost all site I'll see tells that vampires are evil creatures?'

Jake continued his search. Early in the morning, while waiting for his class to start, he opened his phone and continued his research about 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴.

He was always this curious about them. His parents are killed by vampires when he was young. Before he could even start daydreaming again, he snapped himself.

"Good morning Jake hyunggggg~"

Knowing whose voice is it, he looked back and smiled.

"Good morning Sunooooooo~"

Sunoo giggled before seating beside him. Jake went back to his research.

"At this early you're researching about vampires again?"

He beamed. The two had been extra close since the first day even if it was their first school year together. Something about Sunoo just feels so welcoming for Jake.

"Why not?"

"You're too interested in them. Don't tell me if you're given the chance, you'd love to transform too?"

Sunoo joked. A part of him wants Jake to say yes. Since he himself is a vampire. He don't want his hyung to distance himself to him.

Jake shrugged at him before smiling. He can't just openly say that he just wants to know more about vampires because he wants to know 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴.

He don't want Sunoo to laugh at him if he'll mention about it. Not knowing that the younger himself is already one.

Meanwhile, on the other building, Jay tapped on his table. He's waiting for Sunghoon to arrive.

'He's not really going to school?'

Just when he thought of sending Heeseung a message, Sunghoon appeared.

'He looked darker than usual.'

"Good morning bro."

As usual, Sunghoon ignored him. Taking a seat to his side, resting his head on their table quietly. He was never really the type to talk. He usually use their telepathy to talk to them.

Sunghoon has his very own motto. '𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦.'

Jay never really bothered. They're here to study. And not to mingle with these humans anyway. 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲? 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤?"

Unable to stop himself, Jay sent Sunghoon a message.

"𝐈 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧"

And Jay immediately knew why. Them as vampires have their own 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴. Once they reach a certain age, which is typically 18 years old, they will meet their mate. Sunghoon is already 19.

Usually, it is male vampires who always have "the dream". He will have the visions on who is his mate. A very light description of their facial features. Once he and his mate will meet, they will instantly feel the pull and they will know that it is their mate.

But of course, there is always a special case. And that is if you are mated to a human. As humans don't have the abilities of a vampire, it will be a different case to them.

It is always up to the vampire to know if it is their mate. Having the special abilities to smell scents, their mates will have that extraordinary scent that only them will pick up.

Sunghoon has been dreaming about 𝘩𝘪𝘮 for a long time now. His face is so clear in his dreams. But the moment he woke up, he can't remember anything.

"𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?"

Being the next alpha of their clan, Heeseung have the connection to their oracle, Sapphire. He can ask for anything and Sapphire can help them foresee it.

"You know that I don't want to ask Heeseung hyung a favor if it's about my mate."

Sunghoon spoke instead of messaging him. Jay nodded.

"Just a suggestion."

They don't want to bring up the topic of mating to Heeseung. The clan's rule is that an alpha will always serve his clan. Once he became an alpha, if he haven't met his mate yet, he will go mate less. It was rules.

But still, the chances of meeting his mate after he became an alpha is possible, it's still rare. So as long as he is still not the alpha, he is still hoping for his mate.

Sunghoon closed his eyes. He tried to remember the details of his mate but he can't remember it. Except his scent.

'𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢. Sweet smelling flower. 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘢.'
