Third Person's POV
Sapphire watched Sunghoon as he sat up.
(𝘉𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘺)
"𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐩."
"𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚'𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦."
"𝐍𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞."
His eyes immediately darted to Jake, who is sleeping peacefully beside his bed.
"𝐌𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞? 𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐭."
"𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰. 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧."
Sapphire said as she approached Jake. Her fingers brushed his hair as Jake furrowed his eyebrows.
"𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧. 𝐈𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞."
Despite not knowing what happened before, Sunghoon still answered Sapphire.
"𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥."
"𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧."
Sunghoon is confused. Why is almost everybody is telling him not to hurt Jake? It's not like he was planning to hurt him.
"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐞. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝. 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐲. 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝. 𝐖𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧. 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭. 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭."
Sapphire spoke to him. Sunghoon listened intently as he looked at Jake.
"𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐰. 𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞."
"𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝."
Sapphire smiled at him before going out. A few moments after, Jake opened his eyes. Rubbing it as he stretched his hands, unaware of Sunghoon's stare.
"Oh gosh— Oh! Y-you're awake."
Jake looked at Sunghoon as he found him staring at him.
"H-how are you feeling?"
'Why am I stuttering?!!'
"I'm fine now. Thank you."
Jake smiled at him. Then he remembered. He stood up.
"What time is it now?! We still have classes!! We better go
now—"
He was stopped by Sunghoon. He held his hand as he pulled him to sit in front of him in the bed. Jake flushed pink.
"W-why?"
Sunghoon took in his scent. He feels a lot better now that Jake is here. Everything feels so light.
"Can I hug you?"
Jake widened his eyes.
'He wants to what?!'
Before he could even answer, Sunghoon went closer to him. Wrapping his hands to his waist, he rested his face to his shoulder. Breathing in his scent as he closed his eyes.
'This is breathtaking.'
Jake shuddered with the sudden contact.
'What is he doing!?'
But then, he felt himself hugging him back. Gripping his uniform, he pulled him closer to him.
'What am 𝘐 doing!?!'
