Third Person's POV
Their clan, The Moonlight, was based in the forest. It was actually a good thing for them. They can go hunting any time they want.
They really don't need to hunt, as they had adapted to the lifestyle of humans. But there are still times when they need blood. It's not a big deal as they are vampires. It's nature for them to drink blood. But the situation is different during 𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴𝘦.
𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴𝘦. 𝘌𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨.
Sunghoon continued walking home. Too happy to feel the presence around him. The man stared at him as he walked away from Jake's house.
"So he 𝙞𝙨 a 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘯. The rarest one. 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙚."
He laughs to himself. Staring at the house of Jake. An unknown feeling of hate growing to him.
"And he's mated to a vampire? A vampire from 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩? Ha. Those vampires are too naive."
But his smiles disappeared. Just by the thought of The Moonlights. He felt his fangs show.
"I will never forget what happened. Never in a thousand years. What's done is done. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 should remember that."
Breathing heavily. He glared into no one. But then again, he smiled. He smiled creepily.
"But what would happen if 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 huh? What would happen to them if their 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥? 𝘼 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩? 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣?"
Walking towards Jake's house. He stared at the gate.
"𝙄'𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙞𝙢. 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙉𝙊𝙒. 𝙀𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨."
Sunghoon went home. All happy and light. After eating and doing his routine, he layed on his bed. He again looked at the patters in his ceilings.
'I should let him see the stars at some time. It looks dazzling at night.'
He said to himself as he closed his eyes. He tried to feel Jake. Calming down when he feels him at ease.
'I don't know when can I say that I'm a vampire. Or even that I'm mated to you. But I hope when that time comes, you'll accept me. I don't want to be rejected. 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶.'
Every mates have the right to accept or reject their mates. Rejecting someone is easy. But facing the consequences after is hard.
You can reject them just after knowing that they are your mate. Some vampires are lucky enough to be accepted. And some are not. Once rejected, you can feel the intense pain in everything. As you had lost your other half. Your soul mate. Your every lasting love. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
And if you are rejected, there are only 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 consequences. Either you are lucky enough to get another mate OR just continue your life without one OR 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩.
Nobody would want to be rejected right?
