Third Person's POV

"Thank you for the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Park."

"You're too formal sweetheart! Mrs. Hyunmin is fine okay? Or like I had said, mom is better."

Sunghoon face palmed again before he grabbed Jake with him.

"Where are we going?"

They are entering the woods. It was already dark but the moon is shining brightly above, guiding them.

"The view here is prettier."

"Is that a car?!"

Jake pointed out to something. Sunghoon smiled at him.

"Yes. Let's go?"

"What?"

"Climb there. The view is prettier."

"You must be kidding me."

"Do I look like I'm kidding?! Come on~"

Sunghoon let Jake climb first. Instead of climbing too, he took steps backwards.

"Yah! Where are you going?!"

"Pose there. I'll take a photo of you."

Jake glared at him.

"Come on. Smile~"

But Jake didn't. He just stood there. Staring at the camera. Sunghoon captured the photo.

'It looks good. He always looks good anyway.'

"No! Smile! Come on~"

Jake rolled his eyes before raising both of his hands into a v-sign and smiled. But it didn't last for long. Good thing Sunghoon clicked it.

"Hey! Do it again!"

"Nope! Come here or I'll go down."

Sunghoon ran towards him. He climbed up, the car moving a bit. Then silence. Sunghoon layed in the car.

"What are you doing?"

"Watching the stars."

Sunghoon replied as he looked at him.

"Just lay beside me too."

Jake didn't answered. Instead, he layed beside him. They both stared at the view above.

"Whenever I feel sad, I always come here."

Sunghoon opened up.

"This has been my resting place. I feel comforted here. But this is the first time I came here even if I'm not sad."

Looking at Jake, he held his hand again.

"You have no idea how thankful I am that I met you. I just can't explain it."

Jake didn't reply. He felt Sunghoon's words, his genuine words.

'Why can't you seem to lie to me? Why are you so honest and just free?'

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?"

Sunghoon looked at Jake.

'Did he get it?'

"Yeah. It's beautiful."

'Oh. He didn't.'

"It's almost full moon. I read it in a site. We'll have a lunar eclipse next month."

That made Sunghoon stop.

'I almost forgot about 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴𝘦.'

He looked at Jake.

'Can he stay with me for the whole night?'

"What do you usually do during eclipse?"

Jake looked at him.

"Nothing. What do you mean? Should we do something during eclipses? Haha"

"Oh. Right."

"But I love to watch the moon. It's just amazing to see it get covered and everything. It's just for a moment but wow."

'Sad I can't see it.'

Vampires don't have much weakness. But one of their major ones are the 𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴𝘦𝘴. They only need to stay inside and don't let any single light from the moon shed to them.

One thing that you can do to at least ease the pain is to be with your 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 the whole eclipse. It will only last for a moment, while it happens, you need to stay as close as you can to your mate.

'I don't have any choice but to stay close to you. I've been wanting the warmth of my mate for years now.'

Since he had just found Jake, he really needs to be with Jake for 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 eclipse. Just for that moment. 𝙃𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙅𝙖𝙠𝙚.
