Third Person's POV

They went outside the building. Walking hand in hand, Sunghoon spoke.

"Can I stay for the night?"

Jake looked at him.

"You really can't stand being away from me that long huh? Nope~"

Sunghoon just laughed at him again.

Now that he had finally told him that he's a vampire, their bond is now stronger. As Jake accepted him with open arms, Sunghoon couldn't ask for anything else.

"I'll see you tomorrow then."

Reaching their gate, Sunghoon said. Jake nodded.

"You can remove your hand now."

Jake teased. Sunghoon is still holding his hand, waving it on the air.

"Oh come on Hoonie. You need to go home too."

"Why can't I just stay for the night?"

"Because I said no."

'Wait. He called me Hoonie?'

"You called me what?"

Sunghoon asked him. Taking steps forwards as Jake took steps backward, rolling his eyes, he answered.

"Hoonie. It's just a nickname. Calm down. Just go."

Jake said pushing Sunghoon, he smiled.

"Okay okay. Just one more hug."

"You're so clingy."

"You don't complain though."

Jake just tsk-ed as he opened his arms. Sunghoon stood in front of him, giving him another tight hug.

"I'm so in love with you."

"You're so confident."

"Because I don't have anything to hide now."

Jake smiled. The two broke from the hug. Entering the gate, he waved his hand.

"Go now."

"Bye. See you tomorrow."

"Bye~"

"I love you."

"SUNGHOON!!!"

Sunghoon laughed at him. Once Jake entered inside, Sunghoon walked home, smiling.

Walking towards their house, he saw Heeseung standing in their post, with their bags.

'Right I forgot. I should bring it back to him.'

"Hi hyung."

He greeted Heeseung. But instead of greeting him back, Heeseung spoke.

"Where have you been?"

Sunghoon looked at him.

"Hyung. I told you, I confessed to Jake already."

Heeseung just stared at him.

"You walked him home?"

"Yes."

Heeseung suddenly became quiet.

"What's wrong hyung?"

Heeseung gave their bags to him. Sunghoon held it. He was about to go inside when he heard Heeseung speak.

"Crescent is missing."

Sunghoon turned back, he looked at Heeseung.

"Who's missing?"

Heeseung looked at him.

"Crescent is missing Sunghoon."

He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Who's Crescent? I don't even know her?"

Sunghoon said, turning his back again but he stopped after hearing Heeseung's statement.

"She's a nectarean. She's the only nectarean in our clan Sunghoon. And she's missing."

Sunghoon froze. As if someone had threw a pail of cold water to him. He dropped their bags. Without a word, he dashed back to Jake.

He ran. And ran and ran. He felt something. He tried to feel Jake. But he's trembling. He can't focus.

Arriving at their house, he didn't hesitate to open their gates. He went to get the spare key Jake had gave him. Holding it, he cursed when he can't open the gate.

Barging in the house he shouted for Jake.

"JAKE?! JAKE!! JAKE!! BABY ARE YOU HERE!?! NO TRICKS AT THIS MOMENT PLEASE"

But silence. Nobody replied. He trembled. He got his phone, dialing Heeseung, he spoke.

"H-hyung. He's not here."
