Third Person's POV

The next day. Jake was rushing. He woke up late and the class is about to start in just five minutes. Unable to look at his way, he bumped into Sunghoon. Pissed off, Sunghoon looked at him.

"Gosh. Sorry!!!!!"

Jake said as he continued running, not even minding to spare a look to Sunghoon. Who is frozen in his spot.

'Magnolia. He smells like magnolia. Shit.'

He felt his vision darkened. He tired to grab something before he lose his balance, someone held him.

"Sunghoon? Are you alright?"

His vision was spinning. He looked at the person who held him, unable to see who is it.

"Who are you?"

The person held him tighter as he they hid in the garden.

"Calm down Sunghoon. This is just Heeseung."

Sunghoon closed his eyes. He was trembling. He held his head.

"M-my head hurts."

Heeseung got the idea. He messaged Jay. And Jay being the preoccupied vampire he is, was surprised by the sudden message.

"𝐉𝐚𝐲. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤."

He stood up. He grabbed his bag and exited the room. Disregarding the fact that the classes are going to start soon, he dashed to the garden.

Once arriving, Jay saw a resting Sunghoon in the shoulders of Heeseung. The older messaging his head as he has his eyes closed.

"What happened to him?"

"I saw him in the hallway a while ago. Almost fainting. Good thing I catched him before falling."

"Why? What's the matter?"

Heeseung looked at Sunghoon in his shoulders, he seemed to be sleeping.

"I think he had found his mate already. He keep on mumbling 'magnolias'. I think he's half awake that time."

"Oh he did? Who's the unlucky one?"

Jay joked as he took a sit in front of them.

"I don't know. I didn't catch the person. Let's just wait for him to wake up."

"Wait. If he saw it here. Then is it a human? He's mated to a human like me?"

Jay said. Surprised. If he is right, then Sunghoon is in a big trouble. Plus the fact that he's so cold, whoever his mate is, it will be hard to mark him.

Jay can still remember the day he found out that Jungwon was his mate. It was last year. He saw him in the entrance of the school. He smelled amazing.

𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴. A typical flower but it made Jay speechless. He can still remember how Jungwon was so afraid of him. It didn't help that he knew what he was feeling.

They can distinguish emotions by their mate's scent. And Jay knew that Jungwon was above scared that time.

Stopping him from his throwbacks, Sunghoon opened his eyes. The first thing that he saw was of course, Jay, who is sitting in front of him.

"Jay?"

He looked at his side, he saw Heeseung.

"What happened? Wait. We don't have classes?"

Heeseung tapped his head.

"You almost fainted a while ago. Actually you really did fainted. What happened huh?"

Then Sunghoon remembered what happened.

'Magnolias.'

He looked at the two.

"𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦. 𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮."

Jay and Heeseung exchanged looks.

"I'm glad you finally did. So who is it?"

Heeseung asked him.

"He was rushing. I didn't saw his face. But I heard his voice. And he smells like magnolia."

"He's a human too right?"

Jay asked him. Sunghoon nodded.

"You know the rules then Sunghoon."

Heeseung suddenly said. The two looked at him.

"You can't go near him for a week. Starting today."

And that made Sunghoon surprised.

"I can't what?"

"You can't go near him for a week. For seven days straight. You better not initiate any interaction for the whole week."

"Wait. I thought it's only three days? Why do I need to stay away for a whole damn week?"

Heeseung looked at him, eyes turning a bit red.

'Great. He's using his authority.'

"It's because I said so. I don't think you can handle being near to him yet. And besides. He smells like magnolia right?"

The older asked. Sunghoon just nodded.

"Magnolia scented individuals are very rare. They're one of a kind. And you know how engulfing their scent could be. See? You even fainted just by him walking past you. What more if you're really near him?"

Heeseung has a point. He always has a point. As their future alpha, he knows more that what the other two knew. And Sunghoon knows that he needs to follow his orders.

"So I shouldn't go near him for the next seven days?"

Heeseung nodded at him. Then, Jay raised his hand.

"Just a question. You only knew his scent and doesn't have a clue on who he really is, how are we supposed to know who to avoid?"

Now Heeseung realized it too.

"For now, let's just be extra careful. Sunghoon. Just tell us if he's near. We should shut him out from you."

Sunghoon just nodded at him.

"Well. I guess that's it. We better go back now. We already missed the first class."

Jay said glancing at his watch. The other two stood up as they separate ways. Sunghoon and Jay are together of course.

"I'm glad you finally met your mate. Even if we don't know him yet, at least we got the idea that he's existing."

Jay said as they walk to their room.

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨."

He messaged him. Jay looked at him as he smiled. Sunghoon took a deep breath.

'Brown hair. Sparkling eyes. Pointed nose. 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴. He looks amazing.'

He will never forget about his details. It was his mate. How can he forget about him? Maybe Sunghoon lied. Because all this time, he knew what his mate looks like. Maybe he just lied to them about it.

-Hmm?
