Yawning, Lily woke up.
When she looked at the clock, she saw she was awake just in time.
Lily wasn't really a person to be running late often, actually, she usually arrived early.
So she got herself ready, ate breakfast, not having to rush, and her mother brought her to school.

At the entrance, she saw one of her best friend, Monica.

'Moni!' Lily waved as she walked towards her, Monica doing the same.

'Hey, Lil! Did you do anything fun this weekend?' Together, they walked inside the school, through the crowds to their lockers, where they dumped their stuff.

'Nope.' She answered, popping the 'p'.
'Just another, boring weekend. You?'

'Same story here, girl.' They walked towards their classroom, for their first class, which was math, of course. Great way to start a new week.

Walking through the door and taking their seats next to each other, they saw Mason also coming in. Ariadne was the only one who didn't have math with them.

When the bell rung, they took out their books and class started.
Mrs. Ferison, who wasn't exactly Lily's favorite teacher, was not really in a good mood today. But neither was Lily.

She wasn't paying attention at all, as usual.
She stared out of the window next to her, bored out of her mind.
Until suddenly the door opened. First, the schools principal came into their classroom. And then, an unfamiliar boy appeared, following.

He looked like he was around 16 or 17 years old, just a bit older than Lily.
His hair was brown, aswell as his eyes, only were those a bit mixed with honey.
He had a very straight jawline, and a visible good bone structure.
He had a slight smirk on his face, giving Lily, as she said it, "bad vibes".

Apparently, Monica thought just the opposite, as she whispered,
'Oh my god, who's that?'

Lily was about to answer, but the principal did already.

'Goodmorning ladies and gents, I am excited to announce we have a new student at school! He will be joining you today in classes, but first, I'll let you introduce yourself.' She said, the last few words meant for the new guy.

'Uhm, hi, I'm Louis Partridge.' The boy continued, but Lily wasn't really listening anymore.

'Ew. He looks...' She began whispering, but Monica finished her sentence before she could.
'...Good.'
That was definetly not what Lily wanted to say.
'Uhm, no?'

Mason, who sat behind the two friends and heard everything, let out a small laugh, before saying,
'Really? I mean, I get it from Moni, she simps for every boy, but Lil, you're not gonna say you don't find him attractive at all. I mean, even I have to say, he does look good. Not as good as me, though.'

'I don't simp for every boy!' Monica protested.

Lily grinned. 'And no thanks, he doesn't look attractive at all.'

'Okay, or you're just really blind, or you just don't want to admit it.'
Moni shook her head, as if she was crazy.

'Well... I dunno, I just get bad vibes from him.'

'Why?'

'First of all, he looks like a jerk. Second of all, he also looks like he's used to having every girl on their knees for him. Third, I think he really does have every girl here on their knees, so even if I would like him, there are a hundred other girls doing the same.'

'Seriously? You don't even know him! Besides, you're the Lily Stevens. Out of all girls, he would notice you immediatly, everyone knows you.'
Mason whispered from behind them.
