It was a long while later, around 4 pm. Louis and Lily at Louis' home, to pick up his skateboard, and an extra one for her.
'Wait here,' He had told her as he went upstairs to get the skateboards, leaving Lily alone in the hallway.
She looked around, seeing the pictures hanging on the wall. She saw a photo of a little boy laughing, around three years old. She smiled. It must've been Louis, years back.
'So, you ready to go?' Louis voice was heard all of the sudden, and she made a little jump.
'Yeah,' She answered as she turned to look at him, before she turned back to the picture. 'Hey, this is you, right?'
'Maybe,'
'Aw, you were so adorable!' She squealed.
'Excuse me? Were? Don't you mean, are?' He grinned, displaying mock hurt with his hands.
Lily rolled her eyes. 'Let's just go, pretty boy.'
-
A little later, they had arrived at the skate park.
Lily was pretty nervous, this was her first time actually skating. Sure, she knew how to rollerskate, but skateboarding was something totally different.
Louis, on the other hand, was really excited, for some reason. As soon as they got out of the car, he grabbed her hand- she started blushing immediatly, but he didn't notice- and dragged her along, just like she did with him in the mall.
'Come on Lils, this is going to be so much fun!'
Yeah, that was not what she was thinking.
Louis better has something to protect me with, because I will fall a thousand times. . .
-
Louis did not bring anything to protect her with with him.
'I'm sorry,' He had said, 'I never really wear protection, so I just forgot about it.'
She had only rolled her eyes at him.
Right now, he was trying- yes, trying- to teach her the basis knowledge of skating. Including on how to place her feet on the skateboard.
And an hour later, she had managed to move the board. With her on it. Yes, she was really proud of it.
Now he was trying to show her some new tricks.
'So now you place your foot underneath it,' He instructed, 'And you flip it over.'
'Uh, what?' Lily said confused. He laughed and walked towards her, helping her.
Once she got in a good position, she jumped up, but her foot got stuck for a second underneath the board. She landed on the ground, but felt herself lose balance and she fell forward.
She immediatly gripped on the first thing she saw; Louis' arms. He stumbled a bit backwards, but was strong enough to stay up. Lily could feel the muscles in his arms tense up- his strong hands grabbed onto her waist to keep her steady on her feet.
Despite all the other people around them making noise, it was quiet between the two for a moment. Lily looked up at Louis and saw him already staring at her, and they locked eyes. His warm, intense brown eyes were looking into her soul; after staring into her own eyes, they traveled down her face, as if they were studying her face.
