ONE YEAR LATER
'So, are you ready for the surprise?'
Louis offered Lily his hand like a prince would do with his princess.
She placed her hand in his, rolling her eyes. She loved the way Louis always made her like things she usually hated, like surpises. 'How many surprises are there left?'
'Just one.' He smirked. 'Now, are you ready or not?'
'I think so,' She said slowly. He led her to his car, opening the door for her like a real gentleman.
It was Lily's birthday, and the whole day, Louis had surprised her with stuff, such as flowers, but also things like a random surprise date- which was happening precisely now. It was now 9.00 in the evening, and Louis had texted her literally ten minutes ago. The only thing he sent, was: "Be ready at nine.". Of course, Lily had no idea what he had planned. And even worse; she had no idea what to wear- when someone says "Be ready", it could be in joggers, but also it could mean a chique dress.
Lily decided to go with a simple outfit: baggy blue jeans, an orange-red-ish top with a mesh long sleeve shirt on top of it, white sneakers, a white bandana in her hair and black sunglasses- even though it was night, but it finished the look. She didn't get much time to do anything else, because Louis had already been waiting for her a few minutes.
She had no idea where they were going for their date, but she was excited anyway. When they had been on their way for about 5 minutes, Lily decided to give it a try to get some information out of him.
'So, where exactly are we going. . .?' She asked innocently.
Louis rolled his eyes. 'I know what you're thinking and no, you're not gonna get anything out of me.'
Damn he knows me well.
'Aw, come on! At least a hint?'
'Nope.'
'Louis!'
'Lily!' He mocked her.
'Please?' She begged him, dragging out the last "e".
'It's not a surprise if you know about it!'
'Does it have to be a surprise?' She whined.
'Yes.'
'Ugh.' She crossed her arms and sat back. 'I hate you.'
He smirked as he looked to side to her. 'I love you too.'
About 15 minutes later, Louis finally told her they had arrived.
'Okay, now close your eyes.' Louis told her as he parked the car.
'Louis, I'm not going to cl-'
'Yes, you are.'
'No I'm not.'
'Yes you are.'
'Make me.'
'Are you sure?' He smirked.
'Louis!' She punched him softly on his chest.
'What? You said "Make me"!'
She rolled her eyes. 'Yeah, but not for real!'
'Too late.' He suddenly moved towards her, and pressed his lips against her lips, holding her chin up between his thumb and index finger. He kissed her longer than usually. So she quickly pulled back, and he groaned. He looked at her, a big smirk on his face, when he kissed her again, a little rougher than before. She decided to give in and she kissed him back. One of his hands was still holding her chin, the other on her waist, but he moved them to underneath her thighs, and he lifted her up from her seat placing her on his lap.
