"You sure you can't go to Kiri-bro's house at four!?" Kaminari whined, not caring how childish it is.
"Parents need me at the house today, and even if I could go. I wouldn't." Bakugou answered after leaving Shouto on read again when he asked if he's still up to go shopping.
"It's not the Baku -squad without Bakugou! You've been disappearing a bit lately, we want to hang out together as a group!" Mina pleaded.
"Okay, okay, I'm free tomorrow, just stop whining."
"Is it just me, or does Bakugou seem to be in a better mood lately?" Jiro whispered to Sero to make sure the blonde hears.
"Eh, he's an odd creature. Better to let wonder take hold than try to figure him out."

"The man of the hour," Shouto greeted dramatically as Katsuki walked to the bus stop. "The little gremlin."
"The tall skyscraper," Katsuki shot back, as he walked by to get to Shouto's house.
"Where are you going?"
"Your house, dumbass."
"We're taking the bus, I'm not walking to my house to get bikes or anything."
"Well you should have told me, I was ready to bike over there."
"I would have told you if you replied that we're still going."
"Good point."

"What are you doing?" Katsuki asked as they sat on the bus, they had two more stops before reaching Walmart.
"Listening to music," Shouto answered, taking out a Bluetooth earbud for proof. "Want to join me?"
"Your taste in music is probably shit anyway."
"You'll never know if you don't hear," Shouto taunted, moving the earbud on beat to the song he was listening to.
"Hand it over," Katsuki held his hand out to receive the earpiece but instead had it placed in his ear without his permission. He was just lucky that Shouto didn't ram it into his ear with force.
As Katsuki listened to the song, he was surprised but not.
He chose 'It Wasn't Me' by Shaggy, but a postmodern cover.
"So?" Shouto asked, waiting for his judgement.
"I expected worse ."
"But is it good?"
"Could be better."
"Answer the goddamn question."
"It's good, jeez."
"Great, because we're at our stop and you're keeping the earbud to listen to my music."
Before Katsuki even could protest Shouto was gone in a flash, up from his seat and out the doors, his open coat looking like a cape, almost as if he was a little kid running away from trouble. Bakugou found himself chuckling as he chased after him, making sure the earbud didn't fall out as he ran.

"Get out the cart Ruby," Shouto said like a disappointed mother.
"Nope," Katsuki had the audacity to pop the 'p' and continue bobbing head to the music in his ear.
"If you don't, I swear to god, We're gonna play Mario Kart ," he threatened. "And I've never won a race."
"Bet."
Shouto did not waste a second kicking the shopping cart into high gear, needing to sprint to push the cart and the teenage boy in it. Luckily they already got what they needed for baking, Shouto didn't want to leave just yet, so to kill time they walked the aisles, listening to music in comfortable silence. That was before Todoroki's arms got tired of pushing Katsuki at such a slow pace.
As they drifted around and scratched the floor, lost in the moment, Katsuki started to sing the songs mindlessly, Shouto joining for the hell of it. Giggling and chuckling in between words and verses. Off-tune, and off-beat. Both of them could care less, they were having fun and who could blame them.

"Can we get ice cream?" Katsuki pleaded as they walked to Todoroki's house. They were about a block away and he saw an ice cream truck not too far.
"In this weather?" Shouto asked, knowing that Katsuki hates the cold, and he also wondered why there was an ice cream truck this late into fall.
" Please , I just want a slushie. I haven't had one in so long," Katsuki was acting childish, but he didn't want to get his wallet under all the candy they stuffed into his bag. Plus, it's fun to not care what you look like sometimes, Shouto did it, why can't he?
"Okay, let me get my wallet," As Shouto went to grab his wallet he didn't see Katsuki take off the bag and get ready to sprint. As soon as the wallet was in Todoroki's hand, Bakugou snatched it and ran to the truck and stood behind everyone in line.
Shaking his head Shouto grabbed the bag and began to walk after him, hearing the music glitch out less and less as he went closer and closer.
Once Todoroki reached the truck, to the side of it Katsuki was holding two slushies, one red, the other blue.
"You got one for me?" Shouto cooed as he was handed the blue drink and his wallet. He gave Bakugou the bag that was abandoned on the sidewalk.
"I did just rob you, the least I could do."
" Wow , so considerate."
"I try to do my best."
"I can clearly see, can I try yours?"
"What no dumbass, I got you your own."
"I wanna try the red one."
"No, you can'- hey- stop It's mine! Get away you heathen."
"I'm going to catch you ruby!"
"In your dreams candyman!"
