"Ready to stunt on these hoes," Momo joked as they sat in the back of a car, driver and parents outside with the paparazzi, trying her best to not scratch her face and ruin the make-up she had on.

"When am I not?" Shouto asked back.

"We're not even in the Gala, just give me half an hour. For the love of my sanity," Tenya pleaded, taking off his glasses to pinch the bridge of his nose.

"No can do Ten, I had to hear my parents go on about how the Queer community is ruining society and how I should I not indulge in those temptations," Momo answered, doing the trademark Peace Sign of breakdowns. "Can't wait to turn eighteen and drop-kick my inheritance into the trash cause girls are better than boys, my father can agree or we need to have a long family talk."

"Speed run that disownment, am I right or am I right?" Shouto chuckled as he went to hug Momo to give her some form of comfort.

"Say it again for the people in the back," Tenya caved in, his friend's behaviour rubbing off on him a bit.

"Yes Tenya, join the rebellion," Momo laughed. "But first, we have to act like we have sticks up our ass."

"How long do you think they're gonna last this time? Last year it was around 10:00 when it dissolved into madness," Shouto pointed out as he opened the door. "The drinks could have been spiked, it was way too fast."

"I wouldn't put it past half the people in there," Iida scoffed. "The other half are teenagers."

"And the very rare nice person who has a heart, I heard a famous female boxer was at the Christmas one. Apparently, she was very polite to everyone, and flirted with someone for most of it," Yaoyorozu added to the statement.

"You and those gossip channels huh?" Tenya laughed as they went up the steps to the event.

"Gotta get that dopamine from other people's problems cause I don't want to deal with mine."

"Why is it so loud over there Kami?" Mina asked, holding Krishima's phone hostage. "Or is that Sero babe's? I'm honestly lost from how many people we have on this call."

"I'm still trying to call Baka-gou, I think he's just ignoring my calls on purpose," Kaminari whined. "But you're right, this party is really loud."

"I would never have guessed Ottawa is full of party people," Hanta hummed, enjoying New Year's Eve in the comfort of his own home.

"Neither did I, but I swear this mall will collapse sooner or later."

"Well you can leave in like an hour," Eijiro yelled over Mina, Izuku buried under a pile of kids he was trying to keep track of. "After you lose your hearing from all the yelling."

"A mess of Instagram and Twitter feeds for a good week," Mina added with a shudder. "People you haven't talked to for years wishing you a happy New Year's."

"I feel that pain, unnecessary human interaction," Sero continued.

"Babe, help," Midoriya wheezed, barely audible over the music. "I'm in pain, they're jumping on me."

"Duty calls," Kirishima sighs as he stopped trying to get his phone and went to help his boyfriend. "Is this a good time to remind you we have to do the learning bubbies course again this year?"

"No, no it is not a good time, you jerk," Izuku whined, pushing Eijiro's face away when he tried to sneak a kiss. "No kiss 'till midnight for you, you brought this upon yourself."
