POV: Sonic
"We are under attack." I say as I watch the four eggs grow legs and arms. They had long lags and arms, With a red body and glowing red eyes. they all hovered with the help of jetpacks and stood around us four.
When I thought that was all, I felt a gut of wind blow down from above. I look up as the breeze began getting greater, seeing that there was a helicopter floating above me. "Guys, I don't think that's all." Manic says as we all watch another robot float out of the helicopter, as it then flew away.
Unlike the other robots, this one looked like it had some character. It had a blue body wit a helmet that has a siren light on the top. He was also holding a giant rocket launcher, which set off some panic in me.
"Everyone, find shelter!" I yelled as everyone started to take refuge inside of the casinos. Some people backed up pretty far, but watched from that said distance.
When I saw the rocket launcher glowing, I knew what I had to do. I quickly grab everyone and move them by the dock just before a rocket hits the outdoor casino, smashing right into my game. "Aww, and I was about to win. "
"Good for you, now can we talk about this WHEN WE ARN'T UNDER ATTACK!" Scourge yells as he grabs manic, pulling him away from oncoming debris.
"Alright, you guys take care of the four, I'll take care of ol' Heavy over there." I say as they all nod, and we break apart. As I race toward the Heavy Gunner (Which I'm calling it now), I watch as Manic summons his drums as Scourge pulls out a mini grenades launcher out of a bag that he had. To be honest, I wouldn't expect anything else from him.
I had honestly forgot about my medallion, but over the past few weeks, I've learned new attacks to use, as well as some old ones, like my spin and drop-dash. It was weird at first, but I'm happy that I don't have to rely on my medallions like by siblings. My speed also comes in handy as well.
"Hey metal-head, over here!" I yell at the robot that looms above me. I still didn't get it's attention as it launched another rocket towards Shadow and them. "Shit!" I yell as I run to block it. I had ran and jumped to the side of the rocket, using my new "homing attack" to knock it off-course, making it shoot back at the Gunner.
Just so you know, these rockets are not small. they are in fact about the size of
Sadly, it dodged the appending missile as it started focusing its attention on me. "Oh, so now I'm important, huh?" Sonic smiled as the gunner started shooting another rocket. Since Sonic was supposed to be on a romantic date with his boyfriend, he didn't want to play around with the robot like he would usually do.
"Listen, I'm not in the mood to deal with you right now, so..." he quickly grabbed onto the rocket and sat on it to somewhat control it. he used his weight to maneuver the rocket away from all the people as he hurled across the strip.
After he gets used to it, he stands up on the rocket, using it as a hoverboard. "Hey, this is fun." he yells as he leans back and holds onto the nose as he scales the wall of one of the casinos.
"Well, this is my stop." he says as he jumps off, curling into a ball as the rocket slams into the Heavy Gunner. As Sonic hands onto the concrete, he looks up as the robot sparks and explodes. "Nice fireworks, ay?"he says as he looks over at the other three, who we also watching the explosions.
20 Minutes Later
"And Cut." The news reporter said as they turn off their cameras. "Thanks for letting us interview you guys."
"No problem." Sonic said as him and the guys started walking away from the news van. "Well, we should get going... We have a long night ahead of us." Scourge smirked at manic when he had said that. "Scourge!"
"Whatever, just make sure he can walk tomorrow." Sonic joked as they started walking away. "Oh ha ha!" Manic said as they walked out of the casino strip.
"Shads?" Sonic asked his boyfriend. "What's up Sonic?"
"I'm sorry about tonight. I know you wanted to have a fun time but-" Shadow stopped him. "Its fine babe. All that matters is that I got to spent it with you, love." Shadow said as he pulled Sonic into a loving embrace.
"I love you Shads."
"I love you too."
"Wait, what's that?" Sonic noticed an envelope next to his feet that wasn't there before. He picks it up and opens it. He reads it out loud as Shadow reads along with him.
Sonic The Hedgehog,
Congratulations, you were able to defeat my first attack, but don't get too sure of yourself just yet, because I'm just warming up. Watch your back and keep a close eye on your loved ones, because this might be the last time you'll be alive to see them.

When I had finished reading, I could've sworn I heard the faint cackling in the distance. It was nearly midnight and the moon was now the most dominant thing in the night sky. "Lets go hone Shads."
"Yeah."

If you can't tell, I love the classic Sonic games, and my overall favorite game is Sonic Mania (Which is why the robots are built after those bosses and the music is usually from Mania).
