Chapter XIV (Law & Orders)

POV: Sonic

"Chaos control!" is the last thing I hear until we were teleported to the hospital, right outside of mom's room. We both quickly enter the room, me still holding onto Shadows hand. "I'm here guys, I came as fast as I-" I paused as I look to see the two talking to an awake mom.

"M...Mom?" I hesitated as she looked over at me. "Sonic, I missed you! Come here and give me a hug." She says with tears in her eyes. I ran up to her and hugged her as hard as I could. I missed her so much. It felt like an eternity until I decided to let go and go stand with Manic and Sonia. Shadow stood there, leaning next to the door on his phone. He looked up at me smiling and I smiled back. That's when Sonia took notice of me looking over at the wall, and noticing the ebony hedgehog.

"Oh, you brought him..." Sonia glared at me and then at Shadow. I let out a low growl in response.

"Sonic, who's that honey?" She nicely asked me. I blushed lightly which was hardly noticeable.

"He's my-" Sonia cut me off.

"That's his boyfriend." She said slightly enraged, sounding right with herself. I look over at mom whose expression switched to more of an angry or confused.

"What?"

I could tell in her voice that she was suppressing herself. Like she was going to snap. I put my ears down and walk closer to Shadow.

"He's... my boyfriend." I said as I looked at Shadow and smiled. It quickly faded when I looked back at mom; who had a concerned look on her face. "Nonononono... but you're a prince. Y-You're supposed to marry a princess, and become king."

With each word she spoke, the anger in her voice became more prominent. "It's my decision to make mo-" She proceeded to cut me off. "No! I Am NOT Having a gay Son!" She yelled. She was about to say something else until Manic stopped her.

"It's his decision to make. Look, I'm bi and in a relationship with a guy, and I'm proud." Manic stated with confidence. He smiled at me and I nodded. I look over at mom who I'm pretty sure had completely lost it. She then did something that made me a little scared. She took a deep breath and proceeded to smile.

"Leave."

"Wha-" She cut me off.

"Both of you. Just... leave at once!" This time, she said it with more anger in her voice. She sounded hurt at the fact that her two sons both like guys. I turned around and headed to the door, nodding at Shadow and Manic to follow. Shadow nodded back and started following me out the door, while Manic came after. I shed a tear as I walked of the hospital room.

As I walked to the elevator, Tails walked to us from the elevator, probably coming from the food court. "Where are you guys going?" The fox questioned.

"Nowhere, we were just leaving." I said coldly as I soon walked out of the hospital with a blank face, everyone else following me back to the house.

I have a new strategy where I use my laptop that my school gave me. I write it in Microsoft Word, then save it to my private account. Then I open Word on my phone, copy it, and paste it onto Wattpad (the computer has Wattpad blocked so I can't just write on there).

All of this means that the that the chapters can be longer and better than if I always wrote it from my phone.
