"What do you think of me?" He briskly questioned her.

What an idiotic question.

She bit her lip. "What do I think of you?"

He looked at her so purely. He was the same as she remembered. So soft and innocent, besides him being a psycho titan murderer. The Eren that always wanted to learn something new that would benefit his struggle against the titans, was standing before her.

Four years, and here you have not changed. Incredible.

"What kind of question is that?" I asked, not entirely understanding the meaning of the question.

"When you see me" he paused. "What comes to your mind?"

Speak your mind Annie.

"Well. I see someone who wants to learn, and someone who cares for others deeply but also pushes them away so cruelly..."

Eren's eyebrows curved into a sad expression. He looked at her so soft, sad, and broken.

"Like you..." Eren lowered his head. "Like when I pushed you away..."

"What are you talking about?" A hint of irritation and anger toned my voice.

"I fought you. Instead of helping you that day, I fought you along side everyone else. And we forced you to hideaway in that rock..." Eren took a seat in a creaky wooden chair. "I'm sorry Annie..."

I hugged my other arm, not knowing how to react.

"Why are you apologizing? In my eyes you did was right."

Eren cupped his face in his hands. "I could have reasoned with you-"

"There was no reasoning with me" I cut him off to make my point. "You tried your best now drop it. I saw the fear in your eyes, I know you tried. I was cornered and fighting you was the only way out... at least that's what I thought at the time."

We talked for hours about our mistakes and how desperately we wished to fix them.

I had to be honest. We sorta bonded over the whole shenanigans.

"Hey, Annie?"

"Hm?"

"Do you think... you could teach me how to talk to women?"

Now why in the hell would he want that??

"Eh... I don't see why not." I wondered why he asked but didn't care much. Probably wants to charm Mikasa or Historia.

"It's nice to talk to you. After all those years of being a mess and acting out." Eren clenched his teeth. "Your someone I can relate to. We're... alike."

I smiled a little bit. "I agree, Eren."
