"Why would you do such a thing?" Zackly leans forward.

"Ah. I see." Nile begins.

He shuffles his files. "Just like Eren Jäger. This is the exact situation with him. We wanted to kill him, but now he's here."

"Enough with the sarcasm Nile, leave her be. Don't you remember anything positive about her? She saved plenty of  lives, three being our top trainees, Jean, Eren, and Connie. She helped fight in the invades, and kept order in the streets of Wall Sina." Hanji perched.

Nile sighed and closed his files.

"Defendant, Hanji Zoë, must you have anything else to peruse?" Zackly clamped his hands together.

"Well..." Hanji closed her manila folder and picked off some labeled tabs. "It's been two long and stressing hours. Not to mention the clamy and hot moisture in this room..." she sighed. "I see how much damage she is done. And trust me... this is nothing to be forgotten of."

Hanji and Annie's eyes met. For a while it had been an awkward stare, but Hanji managed a smile and turned back to Zackly.

"As one of the higher ups, I'm sure you could understand the eight the Survey Corps. pressures?" She teethed her smile. "This concurs that I'm bearing to take all weight of the subjects mistakes."

Zackly raised a brow. "And what are you proposing...?"

"Sir, the Survey Corps. will bare all Annie Leonhardt's damages..."

There was a questionable gasp that flooded the room.

"And how will you repay these mistakes of hers?" He remarked.

"Any expeditions or work that should be done will be put on her back without generosity or restraint. We will work her to her very last bone..." Hanji tried to stay brave.

Zackly noded and closed the case. "Very well then... Annie Leonhardt is now under the custody of the Scouting Regiment. Congratulations."
