"Annie?" I tap the side of her cranium with my blade.
I turn to Eren. "You can usually hear others outside when your stored in your Titan form right?"
Eren nods, "Maybe she's in a temporary comatose state. It happened to me at the Battle of Trost. Armin has to wake me up, because the Titan ability was taking me over..."
"If that's the case then pull her out of there." Levi gestures.
I nod and make my way to her nape. Before I can pierce my blade through a sudden burst of steam emerges from all opening of the Titan. Steam floods out from the edges of her eyes, mouth, nose, ears, and the cuts on the sides of her mouth.
I cover my face. The steam isn't as hot as the Colossal Titans.
I see Eren looking at me worried. Levi puts his hand on Eren's shoulder.
"Get ready." Levi glares.
Eren shallowly nods.
I slice the nape, soft enough. I wait for the steam to clear. I see more flesh, but it's shaped around a body. I cover my hands with my sleeves so the burning flesh won't affect me. I wrap my arms around Annie. "Looks like Eren was right." I press my arms around the stringy and lining flesh. I feel it burning through my sleeves. "OUCH!"
I laugh. "Oh~ the memories."
I look at Eren and signal him over. He rolls his sleeves up.
