"Mikasa! There you are."
The raven hair girl turns towards me. "Jean, is there something you need?"
I nod. "Have you seen Eren?"
She nods. "Annie went looking for him. But I don't have a clue where he is. I thought I might look for him."
I smile a bit. "I could use your help to find him."
She agrees and guides me outside.
I begin. "He wasn't in this entire building. I doubt he'll be out here—"
"No Annie, you don't understand me!"
It was Eren's voice. He was shouting.
"That can't be good. Let's hurry and check it out-" by the time I could finish my sentence Mikasa was already way ahead of me.
"Eren?" Mikasa stops in-front of Annie and Eren who seemed to be vocally fighting.
"What's going on here?" I walk up to them.
Annie takes a step back.
This was very unusual for Annie.
"It's nothing guys. I just got carried away... I was trying to talk to Annie but I got carried away..." He paused. "In that case, I'm sorry for shouting at you like that, Annie...-? Huh?"
She was gone.
She slipped right through our fingers.
"Now we have to look for her? Agh-" I stammered.
"Stop comparing Jean, let's go. If Corporal finds Annie without my supervision who can tell what'll happen to any of us." Eren waves.

We split our ways to find Annie.
