"Are you sure you didn't get hurt?" I ask him.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine. Let's just go find Annie. We need to split up anyways." He signaled.
"You seem" I sighed. "Awfully focused on Annie lately. I could understand why, but these feelings seem often odd. Like you treat her as if she's something more than me or Armin... is... uhm..."
"Mikasa, I understand. I'm gonna head out. See you." He runs off.

I look around. I knock twice when I get to Annie's room. "Annie? Hello?"
I slowly open the door. The room is dark. It's quiet, clean, and comfortable...
"Mikasa?" A voice comes from behind me.
Armin.
He stands on the other side of the door.
"What's going on? Are you okay?" He asks.
"I'm fine. Have you seen Annie?" I worry.
"No. But I'll help look." He offers.
"Thanks Armin." I head my own way.

After an entire hour of searching we all meet back at the dining hall. Just the four of us.
"No luck?" Jean asks.
We all nod, no.
"That's too bad." Jean sighs.
"Now that I think of it, we all seem awfully focused on Annie." Armin breaks the silence.
Exactly.
"I get it that what she has done was huge, but... Bertholt... Reiner... they did so much more..."
"Annie was... closer to us." Eren sighs.
I nod. Why did I just nod?
