I wake up gasping from and drenched in sweat.

What was that?

I feel my hole body is heated, especially my face. I had just awoken from a dream... a very odd dream.

I try and recuperate my thoughts as to what exactly had just happened.

I was dreaming for sure, but it all felt so real. She felt so real.

I put a hand over my face. "Oh god, oh no..."

Everything hit me at once. My dream, my reactions.

What's happening? Why am I acting like this all of a sudden? Why is SHE involved?

My panting slows down and my mouth felt dry as sandpaper.

I gotta get something to drink.

I fill my glass up with the kitchens water and down it as fast as possible. I felt a little dizzy but that didn't linger for too long.

Creak.

It was the sound of one of the wooden floor boards. Someone else was here.

Without hesitation I make my war to the direction of the sound.

No way...

A small smile comes to my face, a smile that tried to hold back my laughter.

The sight would be unforgettable, it was Annie, searching the pantry for sweets. In her mouth was half a donut and in her arms, bags of candies.

"Annie?" I manage to call her name without bursting into laughter from this bizarre scene.

Her eyes widen and she stopped her movement and looked at me slowly.

"Hey, Eren. Look..." she began.

"No need to explain, I get it, truly." I interrupt.

"Oh... thanks..." she closed the pantry and finished her half eaten donut.

Truly an unforgettable scene.

But not as unforgettable as your dream...

A sudden redness filled my face.

"Alright, it may be dark but don't think I can't see what's going on, Eren." Annie stated and moved closer to me.

"S-sorry." I scratched the back of my head.

"Don't be, but why so... red?" She rose a brow.

"I..." I couldn't tell her. She would surely pummel me to a pulp if she found out what was on my mind.

"It's just... this is so unlike you. To be stealing things, especially sweets. I didn't know you liked them so much." I lied.

"Mm. Yea. Guess we all have our secrets." She shrugged. "Right, Eren?"

Then. Just then I couldn't move.

Her blue-gray eyes stared down into my entire soul. She knew something more, she could see beyond my act.

"Tell me, it can't be as embarrassing as I imagine."

"Wh..." my lips are trembling. "What exactly are you imaging right now, Annie?"

"Well, the sudden blush came to your face, and your mind didn't seem to be blushing at something in this moment. Maybe you were thinking about something, a scenario? Or possibly a memory...?"

How? How could she guess all of that?

She resumed. "Tell me Eren, what's on your mind?"

I hadn't realized it but she was more closer than ever. We had never been this close, except when we trained.

This exact situation had brought up more thrills from the dream.

I wanted this. I wanted her to be close. I needed this, and for so, so long.

She drops the candy bags on the counter and leans into me.

Our faces to close, I could see every single detail in her skin from the moonlight.
