and the only thing i could do was cry,
because i was so in love with you
and there was nothing
i could do about it

i stood there with my hand holding out a rock as a form of defense. how pathetic. how embarrassing.

the four kids looked at each other and then back at me. the older looking guy took a step forward and i flinched, making him hold his hands up in defense.

"sorry, i shouldnt have done that," he said very quietly, almost as if it was meant to be a thought. he looked at me with minty-blue eyes, trying to search for mine.

"look, youre okay here," he pointed his finger to the other 3. "they're all my siblings. we won't hurt you, alright? how about you throw that rock down?" his voice was soothing in a way, but something about it was affirmative.

i gulped and kept my eyes on him as i slowly held my arm down and let go of the rock, listening it hit the ground filled with leaves. a smile grew on his face.

"thank you. do you mind leaving the poor bushes little shield it offers?" he suggested with a slight chuckle. one of the younger girls by his side laughed a little. was my bush plan that dumb? probably.

i took settled steps around the bush and made my way slowly towards all 4 of them. i was about 3 feet away from them when the same guy held out his hand without warning. i flinched once again but managed to control myself.

i grabbed his hand and shook it. he looked at me straight in the eyes. "peter". his hand was warm and soft that i didnt want to let go of it. his hair was a blond tone and appeared mildly wet, probably because of the water splashing. he's very handsome. i shook my head and came back to reality. "blair" i introduced myself.

i turned to the older girl with icy blue, piercing eyes and amazing fair skin with freckles. she reminds me of a husky. i shook her hand. "susan" she told me and a slight smile formed on her face.

my eyes shifted to the younger girl with the brown hair and sharp eyes, and a big smile made its way up her cheeks. "i'm lucy, nice to meet you!" she shook my hand with pride. i chuckled slightly. "nice to meet you too".

i straightened my back and turned to the last boy that was in the back of everyone. his hands were by his side and he seemed to have stared at me and spaced out, because when i had been standing there for 10 seconds with my hand out , he was just staring. susan called him out. "edmund, dont be rude"

he blinked and came back to earth, looked down at my hand and shook it, embarrassed to have been caught staring. "edmund" he said in a low voice and shortly took his hand away.

why is 'edmund' acting like that? is he naturally like this or?

"he's naturally like this, dont worry its not you" lucy laughed and he rolled his eyes. woah, that's scary. hopefully they can't read minds. i smiled and took a few steps back, making sure i wasnt too close to anyone.

"so, um, sorry about the rock threat attemp. i was nervous" i admitted sheepishly and bit the inside of my cheek.

"we're sort of too. are you from here? narnia?" susan asked.

my eyebrows furrowed. "narnia? no, i dont know..."

narnia? i think i remember that name. but why does it cost me so much work to try and think of it's origin? does it have to do something with that door-
