"tell me everything, how, why, where did you escape to."

i was overwhelmed on how i was going to tell caspian this whole confusing story. we're currently walking towards "aslan's how", a huge barrow-cave type of building for refuge and planning according to him.

me and caspian were at the back of the long chain of creatures, and humans, walking in the direction of our destination. susan, peter, edmund, and lucy were leading.

i looked everywhere except at caspian. he has this gaze that hypnotizes you and makes you say exactly what's on your mind, making it impossible to lie to him.

i opened my mouth to say something but closed it quickly afterwards. i have no words, literally.

i could feel him look at me. he sighed and gazed down at the floor. "i know it's hard. miraz probably did something to you. i just wish..." he shook his head, "you would've told me something. i couldn't sleep soundly from then on thinking he had-"

he couldn't finish the sentence. he knew he would explode just thinking about that man doing the same thing to me just like he wanted to do to him.

caspian grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. "you're okay, and that's what matters". he gave me a calm smile and that somehow made me feel better. but i can't lie to him.

"i...im not actually alexandria" i said quietly. his pace slowed down a little and his grasp on my hand loosened. he raised an eyebrow.

"whatever do you mean?". i bit my lip too hard making it bleed a little. my breathing started to get quicker.

"it's just...yes, i may look like alexandria, your cousin," i nodded as a form of questionare. he nodded back too. "well, me and her have the same face and body i guess, but...our souls aren't. do you understand? my real but secret name is blair."

his forehead wrinkled as he raised both of his eyebrows. "uh...no, i don't get it." he quickly lifted up a finger preventing me from speaking. "although, i did notice you don't have your accent. you sound, different..unusual"

i chuckled under my breath and brought his finger back down. "thats because im from the year 2019" i leaned over a little for that last bit. he stared into my eyes and sad smiled.

"i believe you. how could i not believe my..cousin?" we paused and laughed at the same time making some heads turn around, including edmund's. when we made eye contact, he just turned around with no expression. well, maybe anger.

i ignored that, though. i won't let him ruin this wholesome moment im having with caspian.

"yes, cousin. you better fill me in on all the things we enjoyed doing the most."

"no! don't tell me we actually pulled that poor cat's tail!"

"we did! one time it scratched you so bad, look"

caspian had been telling me stories of what we, alexandria and him, had done in the castle when we were younger. i had told him a couple of my embarrasing stories.
