to live a life full of regret is, thus,
soul-tearing, and a wise person
would have the moxie to say
what they want to say
and feel what they want to feel
and not hide away from either of those things.
that make our hearts and beings
completely ethereal.
but, i would rather give them up
and live a life full of regret
from not saying all the things
that were meant to be said
because even though the sparks faded
and our lights dimmed
they demolished our wall scratched with names
of places that we had never been
still, i do not want to lose you.
