Hey guys this is another suggestion from Sivstar30 . This is basically just reckless Hitch for an entire chapter. Let me know if you have anything else you want me to write about. Enjoy xx

Ward slammed his fist onto his desk. Hadn't he told the kid to let the others handle it? He needed to get a hold on that boy otherwise there would be serious trouble. A group of very intimidating and dangerous gang members had been spotted in Downtown Twinford and Hitch was specifically told to let Bradley and LB handle it alone. But did he listen? Hell no. Yes he was an astoundingly intelligent fifteen year old but he was still just a kid with no formal training apart from little party tricks he had taught himself. Hitch may have been an incredible young man who despite your first thought was an amazingly kind and sensitive person but that didn't mean the kid couldn't cause hell when he didn't follow the rules.
"Bring them in" Ward half shouted into his transmitter. Slowly through the door trudged LB, Bradley and Grayson, the very people who were supposed to be watching the kid.
"Do you have any idea what you've done?!" Screamed Ward as they all shakily sat down.
"What we've done?" Challenged Bradley. "If you wanted to keep him away from the action why did you hire the kid?"
Ward scowled at him.
"You were meant to keep him out of trouble just for a few weeks. You're highly trained professional agents for god's sake and you couldn't even do that,"
"No Baker has a point actually," added Grayson. "Hitch is a rare talent and has an excellent logical mind on him but he's also the son of one of the worlds most famous killers. The kid's bound to have a little reckless streak,"
Ward rolled his eyes, not wanting to get into a discussion about Hitch's background. All he wanted was the kid to not cause chaos.
"He may be Aiden's son," said Ward through gritted teeth. "But it is our job to protect him,"
"But..." replied Bradley but Ward cut him off.
"No buts Baker. I don't care at all who his father is. That has no impact on him as a person at all,"
"Actually it does," shouted LB who for the entire time has been completely silent. "My father walked out on me when I was a baby and I know how much that hurts. My older brother Dylan was the same as Hitch was when his dad was sentenced and I know how much it messed him up,"
Ward was silent, knowing in his heart that LB was only talking to him at this point. The other two had no idea they were father and daughter but LB was definitely about to let her dad know just how much he hurt her.
"Dads are supposed to be there for their children," she paused to take a deep breath. "But mine broke my heart before anyone else ever could,"
Ward looked to the floor and sighed.
"My parents only got divorced. Hitch not only had to grow up with a dead beat dad who didn't care about him, he also had to live in his little brother's shadow and got no love from his only parental figures,"
The others were once again silent. They truly had no clue just how awful it must have been growing up in Hitch's life. He was always so happy and bright that it was almost impossible to believe that the boy could ever have heard of sadness.
"I can't even imagine how hard it must have been for him," LB's voice was quieter now, like the sound of a subtle breeze after a storm. "So yeah, Hitch is a little reckless but I think the right thing to do is accept him for who he is instead of trying to shape him into something he's not. In fact shouldn't we be out looking for him right now?"

Hitch clung to the side of the building, a large smirk plastered across his lips. He could hear Ward's voice through his watch.
"Hitch," he said loudly. "I don't where you are or what you're doing but STOP IT!"
Hitch chuckled.
"Don't you worry bout it Ward," he smiled. "Leon's already on exit four and when Jack Eyler walks out that door, they've got him and we can bring him in for questioning,"
"That sounds great Hitch but it still doesn't explain why you're on the side of a building," his tone dropped at the end of the sentence.
"I'm taking pictures of their meeting slideshow so we can decode them and check out what they're planning," He said casually.
"Why do you have to be so smart," groaned Ward.
Hitch smirked again.
"I'll call you later Ward," he said.
"No Hitch don't you hang up on -"
Hitch ended the call.

When Hitch walked back into Spectrum later that day he was greeted by both Bradley and Grayson with folded arms.
"Hey guys," said Hitch as if he hadn't just been hanging off the side of a building. "What's up?"
"Well you caught Eyler, he's being taken to jail as we speak," said Grayson. "We owe you one kiddo,"
Hitch shrugged.
"It's no big deal," he smiled. "It's my job,"
"I'm sorry I underestimated you Hitch," said Bradley, his face serious. "I know your life hasn't been the easiest but we are so lucky that you chose a different path than your dad,"
"Don't worry about it," Hitch started.
"No please let me get this out," interrupted Bradley. "It would've been so easy for you to just work alongside him but you didn't. You chose to be the good guy,"
"You're gonna be a great agent someday kiddo," smiled Grayson. "But in the meantime, please for the sake of my sanity let me know when you're gonna do something crazy,"
Hitch smiled and nodded.
"Ok," he chuckled. "I promise,"
But as the other two walked away Hitch grinned mischievously. He turned to leave slowly.
"I promise absolutely nothing Gray. Absolutely nothing."

I suppose no matter how good he chose to be, he would always be a Zachary at heart.
