Hey guys, me again! This was a request from @Obsessed2 and they wanted me to write about Ruby meeting the Count's son! I hope this is what you were looking for! I always love seeing requests so if you have any please let me know :) I hope you enjoy this xx

Downtown Twinford always appeared gloomy. It was littered with the business estates of the district, no joy in sight. Just well dressed men and women on their way to meetings and conferences. But, today there was a difference.

A young man, who appeared to be in his late teens, dressed rather scruffily in comparison to the others on the streets, was sauntering down Archer Street. No one so much as gave him a second look; they all presumed he was just another youth causing trouble. They were only half right. This was no ordinary boy. At first glance, yes, he could have been anyone's son, brother, friend. But he was not.

His skin was the colour of parchment and his eyes the shade of dying embers. It was as if his pupils had melted into his irises, leaving only the shade of raven's wings and ebony skies. His cheekbones were sharp and high and his face appeared to hold no colour at all, even in the cold of that October morning. To all but the agents of Spectrum 8, he looked no different to any other teenager one would find lurking in the Downtown streets.

He rounded a corner, slipping into a darkened alleyway and proceeded to wait for the man he called 'father'.

Who was this boy? Well, his name was Aleksei Von Leyden, the seventeen year old son of Spectrum's most hated.

Ruby Redfort was a child people would take notice of. She was rather small and dainty looking but, once you were held in the gaze of her sage green eyes, you could tell she was far from the delicate doll her appearance presented. She too walked the streets of Downtown Twinford that morning, accompanied only by her large Husky. His flint coloured fur stuck out in an attempt to shield his skin from the chill.

"Come on Bug," she whispered to him, the alleyway shielding the boy she was looking for mere steps away. As they rounded the corner she saw him, his wild strands of hair twisting in the wind.

An hour or so later:

Aleksei found himself in an all white room, surrounded by unfinished business and looming figures. One man, he recognised all to well. Hitchen Romero had been described to him, an example of how the child of a criminal should not lead his life. Those eyes, like a canvas splattered in paint, were legend. The one difference between father and son. And, of course, there was the girl who had dragged him here. Ruby Redfort, he presumed.

It was only when the woman, dressed all in white, appeared from a door in front of him that his nerves began to kick in. The thing was, LB and his father had a lot in common. Both were ruthless leaders, neither liked leaving survivors. And, being who he was, he doubted her treatment of him would be any more merciful.

"Aleksei, I presume," she said, coldly.

The boy could only nod.

"I thought you were supposed to be in Vermont," growled Hitch, who had seated himself beside the boy. Hitch wasn't one to enjoy intimidating children; he knew all to well what it was like to grow up with a psychopath for a father figure.

"I was," said Aleksei, trying to sound more confident than he felt. "I was called back here."

"Why?" Asked Ruby, her dog still at her side.

"I have no idea," said Aleksei. "If my meeting had been allowed to take place, I would."

LB seemed to smirk. She found it amusing to have the most sarcastic people in Twinford all seated in one room.

"Apology's for the interruption," she scoffed.

"I'll let you off, just this once," replied Aleksei, his eyebrows raising rather comically.

"Well, we wouldn't want you to be late to your meeting, now would we?" she added. "I do despise tardiness, as, I'm sure, does your father."

Aleksei looked confused, even more so when Hitch released him from the ropes binding him to the chair.

"Give my love to The Count, will you?" Grinned Ruby. "How I've missed kicking his ass!"

"You're letting me go?" Asked the boy, still in shock.

"I'm not one to cause harm to children," admitted LB. "If I was, how could I say I was any better than your father?"

Aleksei shrugged; she had a point.

Ruby shook his had firmly. "I look forward to also kicking your ass."

Aleksei chuckled. "Oh, it's on Redfort."

"Escort him out, will you Colt?" Asked LB, her eyes drifting to the heavily scarred man leaning on the wall in the corner.

He just nodded and took the boy by the shoulder and exited the room with him.

"This is gonna be fun," grinned Ruby.

"Well," said Bradley, who had been silent until this point. "We do love a good rivalry."

"Quite right, Baker," replied LB, a real smile playing on her crimson lips. "Quite right indeed."

I hope you enjoyed this! I can always write a  part 2 if that's something you're interested in :) let me know if there are any more requests! I hope you all have a great rest of your week xxx
