Hi, me again! This is part 3 as I had some requests for it :) I hope you enjoy! Also there is some French in this chapter and I've translated it for you guys. Please excuse me if it's wrong I was never any good at French before I dropped it ahaha. Xxx I apologise to all French speaking people who come across this :)

LB's pov:

How that boy could have been genetically formed from pieces of The Count, I did not know. And I pride myself on knowing most things. I barely tolerate Redfort, let alone having a replica! These two are going to be the death of me. Hire a teenager, they said. It'll be fun, they said. It's bloody hard work, that's what I say. And now there's another hormonal teenager I have to keep in check, except this one is the child of a psychopath. Why did I take this job?! Should've stayed home, Byrdie. Should've stayed home.

"Byrdie?"

I heard a voice, breaking me out of my trance.

"Come in," I replied.

Oh god here we go, I thought as said hormonal teenager walked into my office.

"So," said Redfort, leaping into a chair like a kangaroo on steroids. "What's the plan for Dracula jr?"

I raised my eyebrows as if to say cut the nicknames, Redfort.

"Nothing," I replied. "We won't hurt him."

"Why not?" Asked Ruby sounding rather disappointed.

"He's a child Redfort!"

"So? I'm a child and they never showed me mercy!" The girl exclaimed.

"Always with the dramatics," I sighed.

"Byrdieeeeeee," she groaned.

"When did I allow you to call me that?" I asked, genuinely not remembering if I had or hadn't.

"At the New Years party after we cleared the scene," she blinked at me. "You know, when we went back inside and you and Blacker got really drunk?"

"How did you know I was drunk?" I asked, enraged.

"Hitch told me after I asked why Blacker was slow dancing with the mayor."

Curse you Hitchen Zachary! Although, did anyone catch the slow dance on video because I would love to see that?

"Anyway, this is not the point," I brushed it off. "The point is that we are better people than they are. I've seen what that sort of childhood trauma does to you, when your the child of one of those moronic, pardon my French, bastards, and it is awful!"

"Je serais allé avec des connards mais bien sûr," replied Ruby.
(Translation: I would've gone with dickheads but sure)

"peu importe, ils sont mauvais!" I replied.
(Translation: It doesn't matter, they're evil!)

"You speak French?" Asked Ruby, shocked.

"I speak five languages Redfort, it's sort of a requirement."

"Anyway, who's the child?" She asked.

"What child?" I replied, losing track of my memory. Lord I needed an aspirin.

"You said you knew a kid who had an evil parent," she reminded me.

"Oh, right, yes," I continued. "He hasn't told you?"

"Who hasn't told me what?"

Little did Redfort know, Hitch had been standing behind her for a considerable amount of time.

"Ok, fine," he sighed. "Does my last name sound familiar to you?"

"Zachary?" Ruby asked, Hitch nodded. "Um- sort of. It rings a bell."

"And do I look familiar to you?" He asked.

"I've know you for a year so you would hope so," responded Ruby.

"Well, do you know of a psycho with the surname Zachary who looks like me?"

"Not really, I mean, I've never thought abo-" she gasped. "Oh my sweet banana milk and donuts!"

Hitch smiled, doing jazz hands.

"Ta-daa," he sung.

I snorted with laughter. Seeing a 42 year old secret agent doing jazz hands was certainly a sight.

"I always put your trauma down to middle child stuff," said Redford.

"Actually," grinned Hitch. "I'm the oldest child, although, luckily for him, my brother has a different father so he's less screwed up."

"So, you're the child of a psychopath and yet you decided to be a secret agent hunting psychopaths?" she asked.

"Yup," Hitch sighed, a smile forming on his face. "You can imagine the Christmas dinners."

"God no," grinned Ruby.
(note from me: little Sherlock reference there for you all 😂)

"So," she continued. "We're not going to kill him then?"

"Nope," Hitch and I said in unison.

"What if he kills me? Then will you kill him?"

"I'd like to see him try kid," said Hitch, his eyes alight with mischief.
