It turned out that where Clementine was, and where she though she was, were two different things. Quite separate from each other.
The part of the beach they were on, was not that far from Zico. It also was a place that he shared with two of his friends, one of which was at the party with them.
They walked in a group to the apartment, and when they got up to his place, she right away noticed that it was 'affordable' but cozy. Nothing like the house she grew up in, but that's not what she was expecting.
They got to the bedroom, and dropped any extra clothes they were carrying. Both exhausted, and filled with a sense of fulfillment, they kissed slightly before both dropping onto the bed.
Clementine noticed a strange combination of happiness and sadness, both creeping in on her. Above all though, she felt that she could fall asleep right away if she wanted to.
She took a better look around the room. The blinds were half closed, the morning sunshine filtering in through the bare room, creating a dreamlike quality which added to her already sensory state.
They lay there together, too tired to really do anything except exchange a few kiss and embrace each other through their fading consciousness.
