Safe in her room, Clementine took a long, hard look in the mirror.
I could do anything, she thought to herself. Be anyone.
And I am here. Limited by my own beliefs.
Beliefs that no longer existed, it seemed.
So she did what sh e also did when she was exceptionally stressed.
She put on her headphones, and turned on the most beautiful pieces of classical music she could find. Chopin, and the likes. She closed here yes, lay on her bed, and in her mind choreographed the most beautiful, expressive dance.
If she couldn't dance physically, she would take herself there.
She almost wanted to cry, but she did't think that she could.
There was so much she dreamed of achieving, thought she would achieve when she was younger. But here she was, alone in her parent's house, hung up on a stupid boy. Not a man. A man wouldn't act that way, she thought to herself.
She had academic ambitions, career ambitions in dance, ambitions for friends, a love that meant something. A love that would't be so nonchalant.
But here she was, only to discover that she was never even in on all the family drama and secrets and...
She hated that her family had the money that they did, because it limited her. Maybe, if she had something to work for, she would feel more complete.
And yet, the great mysterious force of evolution pushed us all forward, and Clementine, Zico, were no exception.
Clementine grabbed at her lower stomach, and thinking about Mina, she felt empty. She wanted a family too...
Then springing up, Mina!
The wedding was that very same weekend. She hadn't even talked to Zico about the wedding, or since that phone call, and she had a feeling she wouldn't be talking to him about it anytime soon. Considering everything. What's worse, she was afraid that he would use it as some sort of business opportunity. Either of them would.
So instead she got up, took a hot shower, and went to sleep, dreaming of arabesques and pirouettes in pale pink colours and tulle.
