Even though now Clementine wan't sure were they were going, she didn't particularly care, as long as she was with Zico.

It felt that somehow they were in a dream that both of them were watching or participating in, or...dreaming.

It was as simple and complicated as that.

They went out back onto the street, and once again Zico managed to whistle for a taxi, and it was't long until they were on their way again.

She kind of, fell into him, in the taxi. Its like they were too impatient to get home, but they had that taxi.

Sitting beside each other, side to side, their legs and arms touching, Zico started to ask her about her past.

"So where did you live, in your childhood?"

"Here and there, kind of everywhere. I was born in American, but raised in Brazil and there too," Clementine hated trying to explain her inordinate circumstance, because most people didn't understand.

Zico raised his eyebrows in wonder. They were passing along the shoreline now again, and Clementine thought she heard Zico mutter some foreign address to the taxi driver which was probably going to be his apartment.

Meanwhile, one of Zico's hands slipped into hers and their fingers interlaced. He kept asking her more questions.

"And where do you like better?"

"Um," Clementine hadn't really thought about that yet, "it depends, I guess."

At this point, his other hand moved towards her hip, easily finding her hipbone, pressing on gently and arching his eyebrows as if to ask if this was okay.

Clementine nodded at him without words.

"Depends on what?" He asked as he slipped his fingers beneath her dress and under the waistband of her tights.

Clementine's breath caught in her throat and she had a hard time keeping her words straight.

Her mind was highly focused on what was happening with Zico, and she had a hard time trying to get her words out.

She also knew he was taunting her, doing this to her and getting her to talk to him as if nothing was happening.

"A lot of things," Clementine managed to mutter out before she reached out and put her hand on his thigh.

He grabbed her neck and kissed her on the mouth.

Soon enough though, the car rolled to a stop and the blinker lights came on. The taxi man cleared his throat, and both Clementine and Zico were brought back to reality.

Zico pulled out a wad of cash from his pocket and handed it to the driver without really counting it. Then he got out of the car and held the door while Clementine did the same.

After that ride, it wasn't like she came out to a new point on the map after being transported to another, but more like she came out onto an alternate universe.

For one second, it was like she lost touch with reality while her eyes adjusted to the dim street lights, but then she snapped back to it when Zico grabbed her hand.

She looked up to see some apartment buildings, and waited outside the door while Zico fumbled for his keys.

"Fuck," he said out loud all of a sudden.

"What?" Clementine was taken aback slightly.

"I think I lost my keys," Zico said with a guilty expression on his face after patting down his whole pant leg.

Seeing him look like a worried puppy, gave Clementine and involuntarily reaction to laugh. She didn't mean it in a bad way, but it was more like a laugh when you know things aren't really that bad.

"The beach, perhaps?" Clementine asked giggling.

Zico gave her a fake angry look, then throwing his hands up, he said,

"Fuck it. Let's go," Zico started towards the direction of the water, but Clementine had to stop him.

"Wait, wait!" She called behind him, not moving. "I was joking, kinda."

Zico looked back and at seeing her look so delicate and alone, turned around and went up to kiss her gently.

She smiled at him, and he put his hands in his pocket, "I have an idea," he said causally.

He led her around the side of the building and they came up to a fire escape. Clementine grande her neck, looking up.

"Uh-uh," she said "I'm not climbing that to the top."

"Si," Zico took her hand again, "trust me, its worth it. The view at the top is great. If we're going to be outside we might as well watch the sunrise.

Clementine knew she was probably more tired than she felt, but his words sounded promising.

They started on the steps and she realized that it wasn't as many floors as she thought. Maybe about 15. And they took breaks climbing, breaks that consisted of short, sweet kisses and constantly changing views.

Finally, they got to the top, and Clementine was surprised to see that it looked as if someone already lived there, in a sense.

There were bean bag chairs and blankets and unlit candles.

"Yep, I come here a lot," Zico said innocently in response to her reaction.

Clementine smiled and they both went to tile on top of the mass of beanbags.

Side by side, arms touching, they stared at the stars.

"They're so visible here," Clementine said looking up and Zico turned to face her, "in New York, you can never see the stars. There's too much light."

"I've never been," Zico said, turning to look back up at the sky, "but I bet it's incredible."

"Its alright," Clementine said, smiling.

She couldn't' help but notice that as they walked, they seemed to be getting drawn closer together as if being pulled baby a magnet, side by side.

He had the audacity to gently, but with a strength, place his hand around her, easily finding her hipbone with his fingers.

Then it was her who turned to look at him, and she couldn't help but admire his face. Even in the dark, it was like he emitted an energy that glowed. It was like he was a magnet and she was being drawn in by his sheer force, that was the best way to describe it.

After a moment, Zico turned to meet her gaze, facing her directly. He grazed her chin with the fingers of his other hand, and then taking a hold of her face, he leaned in to meet her lips.

They kissed, getting closer to each other in the hot night. It was sparks flying, and before they could go further, instead of having to ask him, Zico pulled out a condom and grinned.

"Here?" Clementine asked.

"Why not? Nobody else comes here," Zico said suggestively, letting his hands run along her body.

"But what if someone comes?" She asked.

"Then they'll get very, very jealous." Zico said looking into her eyes.

"I just wish we had more privacy," Clementine said but she continued kissing him back hard, as if hungry. As if trying to make up for lost time.

Clementine paused for a moment to ponder, but then agreed, her body giving in before her mind. Or maybe her mind gave in a long time ago before her body. At that point, she wanted it too much to be willing to take on the risks.
