She drove in a pretty straightforward manner. Mostly straight lines, taking a turn here and there when he told her to.
The road was getting lusher and greener, denser with the green foliage. Finally, they came to a sort of overpass of trees, a small clearing. Rays of sun were piercing through the green, creating a halo effect around the leaves.
"Park here," Zico said, leaning back in his chair, his golden forearms reflecting the sunlight.
Parking the car, Clementine sat there for a little bit in relief of getting to their destination.
"Come on," he said, getting out of the car and Clementine threw the keys back to him.
"It's gonna be a bit of a walk, so I hope you're ready," Zico adjusted the cap on his head and grinned at her.
"Have you forgotten that I am a dancer?" Clementine teased, "and us dancers, are more physically fit than...soccer players!"
"Not," Zico pretended to be shocked, "leave us soccer players alone!" He grabbed her ribs, then ran ahead of her.
Clementine followed him, keeping a pace, and she once again observed him from the back. Admired him, the way his body moved so lithely, his muscles responding so well, his tan skin blending in so well into the surroundings.
She broke into a light jog until she caught up with him.
After some time of walking sided by side in silence, she asked "when are we going to get there?"
But he responded simply with: "Patience."
Just when she was going to ask for a break, they made one last turn and what she saw took her breath away.
It was a clearing with a long waterfall, cascading down into a crystal clear pool of water. A warm lagoon!
"I fee like I'm in Neverland," Clementine said with eyes wide and bewilderment in her face.
"You are," Zico said. "Every time I see it is like the first."
When they took a moment to take it in, and that moment passed, it was like a synchrosity the way they dropped their backpacks and their clothes to run into the water.
"This feels amazin!" Zico was the first to jump in, "come on in!"
Clementine took off her hoses last, and already had a biking underneath.
She approached the water with a little bit more carefulness, but quickly abandoned any hesitancy when she felt how warm the water was and how close Zico was.
Where she found him though, she had to tread the water, as it was getting deeper.
"Follow me to the waterfall," Zico led the way again and swam the small distance closer to the where the cascading water met the pool.
Clementine followed him just past the curtain of water, at which the point the water got shallow again, enough for them to stand in, waist deep.
And there, sheltered by the stone and the waterfall, he finally took her face in his hands and kissed her.
They continued to splash around in and near the water like little children at a splash pad, only Clementine couldn't believe at the wonder of this all natural splash pad.
At one point, when they were at a point where Zico was just tall enough to touch, and she wasn't quite, he stood there and she wrapped her legs around him. And this time, she was the one grabbing him, and establishing her power over him, which she knew she had.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do if I ever lose you," he said suddenly.
To that, Clementine held her breath and dived under the water, daring him to catch her.
