How many times can somebody coherently break up and get back together? Clementine thought, while trying to distract herself from the fact of how itchy her dress was.

She was staring at Mina getting married to her long-time on-and-off boyfriend who was nevertheless perfect for her, and she thought the answer was - not enough, apparently.

She was standing front row at her best friends wedding, holding the bouquet, and it all seemed a little surreal.

She couldn't believe how such a beautiful dress could cause so many problems, but that's the way it goes, I guess.

She spent a magical morning, helping Mina get dressed with the other bridesmaids and everything was like in her dreams: pastel and tulle and glitter and champagne.

She was nervous when she got into the chapel ceremony, eyeing the room for him. But after a sufficient round of that, she released, breathing a little deeper - as deep as he could in that dress -a t the fact that he seemingly wasn't here.

She'd be lying if she said she ask't at least slightly disappointed, a little piece of her never quite giving up all the hope, but the relief overweighed any possibility of hope she felt at any sort of reconciliation.

All for the better, she thought. Trying to shift the focus away form her, and instead onto her best friend.

Her parent were there, near the front, sitting beside Mina's parents. And some may other faces she vaguely remembered from childhood, the implicit understanding that these were all somehow important, society people.

The ceremony itself took longer than Clementine imagined it would, and her fingers ached from gripping the bouquet so hard. She din't realize it, but she had to suppress her pressure somehow, and it had to come out another.

This is temporary, she thought to herself. A quiet sort of mantra she began saying to herself in moments of need.

And this was a moment of need.

She felt a sort of rave, loneliness inside her chest. A feeling of being alone in a whole new way.

Will I ever get married? Have kids? These questions whirled around her mind, but she quieted it through her mantra.

Shifting the focus to Mina and her groom again, she thought how there was something truly magical about seeing ab beautiful, young couple together. Like there was some sort of underlying power to it. She couldn't explain it but there its was, like they could take down whatever was in their way.

She couldn't help but wonder if that's what they looked like form the outside, Zico and her, even if form the inside there was always so much doubt. And yet they must have been, for she felt it. The power they created together.

Finally, their vows exchanged, the rings slipped on, and there they were forever tied and the crowd cheered as the new couple kissed.

Among the cheers and the excitement of the room, Clementine got teary eyed, watching her best friend profess her love that the feeling was contagious. The happy tears started falling, and in the midst of all the cheering and people getting up from their seats -in the midst of al the chaos - Clementine looked around the room, taking it all in, just in time to see Zico's shape at the entrance of the chapel.
