"We always long for the forbidden things, and desire what is denied us."

Lilly's POV
"Oh wow, he is so hot," Sally whispered with a dreamy sigh, eyeing Christian as he resumed the lecture like nothing just happened, "I applaud you for banging this beautiful human being."
I shot her a hard glare. I am over here panicking and thinking of what I am going to do for the rest of the semester and Sally is ogling at Christian like he's an eye candy. Truth be told, he is, but right now I kind of need her support, dammit!
"You really have a thing for blue eyes, don't you?" Sally whispered, and I hated everything about her words. At the moment, they made me feel as if I just replaced Chase with someone that reminds me of him, or that makes me feel an ounce of what he once made me feel.
I kicked her feet from under the table and hissed at her, "Stop undressing him with your eyes and tell me what the hell I am supposed to do now!"
"Well, nothing," She mumbled, "Maybe go and have more sex with him, I totally support that, I always had the professor-student fantasy," She added dreamily, "But just don't tell anyone because I am pretty sure he could lose his job because of this."
Oh shit.
He was so excited about getting this and the thought I might ruin it somehow made me feel bad. Well, he deserves it, no one told him to come and hit on me in a bar. Also, no one told me to go and sleep with him either. Ugh, I hate everything about this.
Even when I have an innocent-not-so-innocent one-night stand, the guy ends up being my professor. Seriously, nothing in my life is ever simple enough. I am so angry at everything.
The only solution is probably to drop out, leave the country and change my name. There isn't any other reasonable getaway except this.
Christian on the other hand, talked with ease, like he was made to stand there between a crowd and just speak, his tone grabbed everyone's attention; I had to say his looks played a role in that but even the guys seemed too focused and indulged as he went on and on introducing his course and what we're going to expect for the rest of this semester.
He made sure not to make eye contact with me, because it would surely ruin all of his act and composure. He explained the grading process and everyone started scribbling notes, except me probably. I was too busy in everything unfolding to care about the course that I suddenly don't even remember its name.
At the moment where everyone else was so busy, his eyes drifted to me for a couple of seconds and I shamelessly stared back, unable to look away, trying to communicate with him without using words, and trying to read whatever thoughts are racing through his mind at the moment.
His throat bobbed and he raked his fingers through his hair, messing it a bit, before he walked to the computer and closed the slides, "Since it's our first lecture, I think this is enough for today," He started and I swear I could hear the disappointed sighs echoing from around me. I almost rolled my eyes, no one wants Mr. hot professor to leave, "Next Monday, we can start with chapter one, I will see you then," He added, "Have a nice first week."
People started gathering their things, ready to head out. I tried to make my way in between them, hiding myself so that he can't notice me as I escape. I almost succeeded, but as we reached the door, one of the girls accidentally bumped into Sally and her two heavy books fell to the ground with a thud.
"Seriously, couldn't you watch where you're headed!" Sally said loudly, placing her hand over her hips and shooting daggers at the girl's back. I grasped at her sleeves, "Let's go!" I hissed, needing to get as far as possible from here.
