Maze runner (love story with newt)

The 'talk'

I wake up with my head on Newts chest and arms wrapped around his body with my legs also on top of him, as I open my eyes I realise he's still asleep, his hair was messy and golden like the sun, his skin looked so smooth and his face so rested, I was so comfy and felt so safe on him. I move my body on top of his and lifted it up with my hair nearly touching his face and I slowly moved towards Newt and as I get closer to him I notice his eyes slowly starting to open, I put my lips on his slowly trying to wake him up, he wasn't getting up so still kissing him I move to his cheek down to his neck and bring my face back up to his and I see his eyes open with a big grin on his face, he makes me feel so happy and safe.

"Good morning baby" his morning voice almost made me faint, it's so dreamy, he sits up a little bit and I sit down on his lap facing him still.

"Morning baby" giggling as those word come out my mouth.

"That was probably the best way I have woken up out of the few years I've been here for" he sits up fully and pulls me in more towards him with his hands around my outer thigh.

"Well I didn't say that it was over did I now?" Putting my face closer to his about to kiss him when-

"Have you seen New-" realising what position we are in Chuck slams the wooden door, "I'm so sorry I'll come back later!" Chuck runs off.

"Oh shuck!" I jump off Newt and quickly change my trousers to go outside forgetting that Newt was in my room I stop at the door and turn around in shock, blushing. He just saw me in my pants. Oh crap.

"I didn't see anything" Newt rubs the back of his head and slightly laughs a little bit. He smiles though which makes me feel good about myself.

"Oh...I don't mind" I give a half smile and laugh while I run to go and find Chuck to see if he's ok. Before I find Chuck, Gally walks up to me with a displeasing look on his face.

"Alby wants to see you and Newt in ten minutes" he looks at me up and down from my trousers, my sleeping vest top and my bed hair, the top of my head and back down again where he stops at my vest. I put my arm in-front of my top so he will stop staring.

"You know that girls feel uncomfortable when guys they don't like look at them there" still with my arms over my chest, giving him an angry look.

"I don't care. Your not my type anyways. Now hurry up" he walks away and the way he walks annoys me, he walks like he owns the place. I hate it.
Instead of finding Chuck I go back to my room to find Newt still laying in bed with his eyes half open.

"Newt you got to get up, Alby wants to see us in ten minutes" I shake his arm gently.

"Why" he groans and turns over.

"I have no idea. Gally told me" I look at him and he looks so confused his tired smiley face was all serious now.

"Ok let's get ready and go" he jumps out of bed and we both get ready and walk over to Alby in the main room. As we walk in, holding hands, Alby looks really serious and he sits down.

"Some people have reported some stuff about you so I need to discuss some things with you two" Newt and I look at each other in shock.

"Is this about our relationship?" I shout out at him.

"I really don't want to do this but I have to set some rules for you two to follow." He says awkwardly "Some people have been talking about what you guys are doing" before he carry's on I jump in.

"About what? If we're kissing?" I look at Alby and I know that's not what he meant, "Sex?!?!" I look over at Newt and back to Alby "last time I checked it wasn't yours or anyone else's business if we are or aren't having sex!" I start getting really angry here.

"I know that Ivy but some people say if you are or aren't doing it then they don't want to hear anything" this time Newt jumps in, he was also as shocked as I was.

"Well if they hear anything, that's their fault! I don't care if they do. It's not their business!" Newt grabs my hand. "I'm sorry Alby but as second in-command I should get a say in this, and I don't think this is fair." He pulls me half out of the room when Alby says...

"I completely agree, I'm sorry, no rules will be set for you two." Alby nods his head and we then walk out of the door but Alby then catches up to us and grabs Newts arm to whisper in his ear. I couldn't hear what he said but I know that Newt was very angry about it. I didn't know if I should ask him or not so I waited until later to ask.

After the rest of the day went past I had kind of forgot about everything that happened that morning but I'm pretty sure that it was Chuck a bit scared. I don't blame him, he's only a little kid. As I was thinking about him he walked past me on my way to dinner. Newt was sorting some things out with Thomas, they are kind of best friends now. That's why he wasn't with me.

"CHUCK!" I called him from in front of me. He turned around just from passing me and was acting really weird. "Hey. I'm sorry that you walked in on us kissing but you didn't need to go to Alby about it!" Even though I could understand why he didn't like it I was still very upset with him.

"What? I didn't go to Ably about anything?" He looked so confused.

"What? Who did then?" I could tell that Chuck was telling the truth. He's not very good at telling lies.

"Not me." He walked off over to the fire pit to eat and I stood still just thinking. Who could it have been then? He's the only person that I would have said didn't like kissing.

I sat down next to Minho and talked to him for a bit until Thomas and Newt came over. Newt looked a lot happier than earlier. I guess he's forgotten about it a bit, I'm glad, although that conversation annoyed me it was also very uncomfortable. Talking about it like we were going to do 'It' made me feel nervous.
I walked over to sit next to Newt and Thomas so I jumped into the middle of them and they laughed at me. I put my arms around both of them and turned my head towards Newt and kissed him on the cheek.

"What an entrance!" Thomas looked at Newt and they both laughed at each other making me laugh.

"Why thank you! So what you guys talking about?" I took my arms from around them to my own lap and leaned against Newt that was sat with his legs either side of the wood and his arms around my waist getting comfortable he layed his chin softly on top of my head and his arms around me keeping me warm and comfortable.

"Just about how Gally basically threw me across the field earlier." He showed me a bruise on the back of his arm.

"I know Gally is a bit harsh on people but he did save your life back there." He looked down at me. "He almost walked into the maze as the doors were about to shut." Thomas then cut in.

"I was just checking it out!" Thomas is as interested in the Maze as I am. I know exactly how he feels.
