Maze runner (love story with newt)

Way out

As we ran through the maze thoughts came rushing through my head about before the glade and about Newt and I. I wondered why they would only send two girls up and why I would remember Teresa. It's all so confusing but I'm going to remember. After Teresa came up and I knew who she was, I knew that I could get my memory back somehow. It's all going to come back to me soon. I just know it!

"We call these the blades." Minho shouted out at both Thomas and I. When I looked up I saw many tall, thin, metal 'blades' attached to the ground.

"I can tell why you call them blades." I said walking up to one. It looked sharp as well. Like it could cut you in half.

All of a sudden we heard a beeping noise and Thomas spun Minho around getting the metal device we found in the dead greiver that I killed the other night. Thomas began walking and somehow figured out why it was making a noise.
"It's showing us the way" Thomas said, fascinated by the device he hagan walking and Minho and I followed him.

"Showing is the way to what?" I ran in front of Thomas. "It could be leading us to a greiver, we have to be careful,Thomas"

"Or it could be leading us to a way out!" He began running and turning directions, letting the beeping noise lead him to whatever it's trying to lead him too. Minho and I followed, trusting him.

"Have you seen this before Minho?" Thomas was a bit ahead of us so we sprinted over to him to see a pathway to a dead end.

"No..." Minho walked toward the the end. "Just another dead end..." Ashe said that, the metal device made a clicking noise and then we heard a Big Bang making all of us flinch. The dead end be an opening up, leading to a door of some sort.

There was slime in the side walls. So we all knew that that's where the greivers go during the day. Meaning, "that's the way out!" We all murmured in unison.

The walls began crashing down, we began running and everything was shutting, then the blades began closing together, barely making it through Minho followed me. I was in the front as I was the fastest but Thomas was slowing down. He barely made it through the blades I began to worry. I can't loose my best friend.

"THOMAS!" He just had to get through the last wall of blades, Minho and I were on the other side of them but Thomas was still on the other. "THOMAS! HURRY UP!" We were all sprinting as fast as we could and Thomas barely made it through. I grabbed his hand and made him run at my speed. The walls began crashing down from all directions. We ran towards where we entered before and the wall was closing. Almost squishing all three of us we jumped through it and crawled our way through it, dropping to the floor winding us.

"I- I can't breathe!" We were all breathing very heavily. We were back into the part of the maze that we had been running in for the past few days. The part that I know my way around in now. We ran towards the gate. I saw Newt standing there waiting for me with the rest of the gladers. I only feel safe in Newts arms, I was glad that I was back to him.

"What the bloody hell was going on in there?" Newt said.

I ran over to him and hugged him, putting my hands around him and my head on his shoulder. Breathing heavily.
"Hey, are you alright? Your heart is beating really fast." He ran his hands through my hair and I felt good again. Less anxious then I was in the maze.

"We think that we found a way out" Thomas said as he walked out of the maze with Minho following him.

"What? Really?" Newt jogged after Thomas and I ran with him. As he slowed down, caught up with Thomas I wrapped my arms around his arm.
Thomas explained everything to the gladers and everyone was shook.

"We're not leaving the glade" Gally added.
Gally was fully against our idea. But we had to find a way to get him to agree to come with us.

"We can leave tomorrow" I tried to persuade Gally but he wasn't having any of it. We all argued until Teresa came over and interrupted our arguing.

She shouted at us getting all of our attention she said, "GUYS! It's Alby, he's awake."
