Runners

"TERESA?" As soon as I saw her face I knew. Teresa, she's my sister, I remember!
Everyone looked at me and I felt guilty for some reason, I remembered something, I don't know how but I do.
Newt looked at me as he jumped down into the box, still looking as confused as everyone else.

"What's in her hand?" Gally shouted. There was a price of paper in her hand so Newt took it out. I couldn't read from that far so I jumped down into the box with Newt.
I looked at the paper and newt read it out loud to the rest of the glazers.

"She's the last one..." he looked at me, "Ever"

"What does that mean?" I sit next to Teresa and grab her hand. She starts breathing and opens her eyes. Her eyes land first on Thomas and she says something.

"THOMAS!" He then begins to breathe less heavily and passes out again. Everyone was now extremely confused, she's come basically a whole month before she was supposed to, there are no supplies, I remember her, she remembers Thomas. It is all too much. I helped Newt and Gally pick Teresa up while still holding her hand. We took her to Clint, who is one of the two med-jacks. She wouldn't wake up so I got up urging to go back into the maze so I can get everyone including Thomas, Newt and Teresa out of here. I have to.

"I'm going back into the maze." I run out the door and Newt stops me by grabbing my hand.

"Be careful" he lets go of my hand. He trusts me. He's letting me go back into the maze. What he said just made me so happy I grabbed his face and kissed him.

"I love you so much" and I ran out smiling. Thomas followed behind me. We're both the same, we both want to explore the maze more and get out of here.

"You ready?" I turn around running backwards looking at Thomas and he nods.

"Hell yea!" He shouts.

"WAIT!" We see Minho running behind us and we stop to wait for him. "We just go out and now you both want back in?" What does he expect we need to go check out the greiver.

"Minho! We have our own greiver, it's the best clue we've got so far, are you coming or not?" Even if he doesn't come, Thomas and I are still going in.

"Fine. I swear Ivy that you have a death wish"he starts running with us through the maze and I lead the way to the greiver I crushed. I think I now know my way around the maze, after a whole night in here. I understand how it works.

"Over there!" Thomas shouts as we head towards the greiver. It was crushed in the wall with a metal leg hanging out the wall.

"That was a close one!" I start to giggle of the thought of what would have happened if it made it through. "I would have failed so miserably!" I start laughing and Thomas and Minho are just looking and me weirdly now. I nudge them both and point at something flashing from the inside of the greiever. "Let's pull its leg off and then we can get it." The boys agree and we pull it out. It was really hard and seeing the insides come out as we pulled the leg out, made me turn around and puke.

"You ok?" Thomas grabbed my hair back and smiled at me.

"You really are the best bro" Thomas is like a brother to me. And I'm like a sister to him. Nothing more, nothing less. I smile back at him and wipe my face. Minho already had the metal object out of the leg. It was some weird device.
"Let's figure this out when we get back to the glade, the doors are going to shut soon" we all run back to the glade where Newt is waiting for me just outside the door leaning on the wall.

"Hey babe" he smiled at me and I giggled.

"Heyyyy baby" we were both joking around. Trying to make Minho and Thomas feel uncomfortable. We both laughed and I turned around and leaned against Newt softly. He hand his hands around my waist and his head on top of my shoulder.

"You two are gross!" Minho laughed and ran off with the metal device.

"Whatever" I shout at Minho as he runs away laughing. "I'm not going to kiss you until I brush my teeth anyways" I giggle.

"Why not?" He lowered his eyebrows and his eyes were like puppy eyes. So cute!

"Because I puked" I gave him a big smile and he gasped. "When I saw the insides of the greiver I-" gagging a little bit Newt grabs my hair and turns me the other way. "Wow very prepared! It was only a gag don't worry" I laugh and he laughs back.

"Bloody hell, that was scary" newt laughs.
"Anyways, what was that, Minho had in his hand" Newt asked.

"Some metal device we found inside the greiver Ivy killed." Thomas inputted on the conversation.

"Come on" I take Newts hands off my waist and looking behind me where Newt is, he gives me a quick pecky kiss. He didn't mind. I took one of his hands and we walk towards the council hall.

"We found this inside of a greiver" Thomas hands Newt the metal device.

"It's the same name that we get on our supplies" Newt studies it with the letters, WCKD.

"This is the fist clue you have found in three years, right Minho?" I look at Minho and he nods. "Newt, we have to keep on going back out to there to find more!" I look over at Gally and he buts in.

"You see what she's trying to do right? First SHE and that dumb shank break our rules and now they want to break them all together?!?!" He points at Thomas and I who he was referring to as SHE and dumb shuck. "They need to be punished" he leans against the wall glaring down Newt. Newt looked very angry about how he was talking about me. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and I nodded at him, reassuring him that it's ok. I know that because I'm his girlfriend they will think he's just taking it easy on me and I don't want anyone to think that.

"Your right. They broke the rules!" He looked and Gally and he smirked. "No food tonight for either of them" Gally quickly jumped in looking very mad.

"OH COME ON NEWT! One night without food, you think that's going to stop them from going into the maze?!?!" After Gally says this Newt looked back at us.

"No! We can't have non-runners going into the maze whenever they fell like it!" Newt looked over at Thomas and I and smiled. We stood there quietly. "So let's just make this official..." he looked at me in the eyes, "...starting from tomorrow, your both runners" I look back at him and smirk a little bit at Gally. That makes him angry.

"...wow..." Gally walks out the room, unimpressed. When the door shuts behind him I run up to Newt and jump on him, he picks me up and as he puts me down slowly I feel the movement of his hands go down the back of my body and he grabs me tightly.

"Thank you newt" I kiss him on the cheek and Thomas comes up from behind me.

"Yeh, thanks Newt" Thomas was just as exited as I was.

"No problem. But if my baby gets hurt, It's on you Thomas" he looks at Thomas seriously and I look blankly at them both.

"I can take care of myself yano..." I wave my hand in front of newts face to get his attention.

"I better not regret this" Newt says as we all walk outside.
