Maze runner (love story with newt)

Period.

Me and Newt were in the middle of the field when we heard a loud noise coming from the maze. The maze wasn't there. There was just and edge of nothing but when we looked down we realised it was a waterfall. I was so interested. What the shuck is going on? Newt wasn't holding my hand and I thought he was and so I leant forwards to take a better look at the waterfall but I fell. The noise of the water rushing down to the bottom and the feeling of the water running down my legs felt so real. Too real.

"Baby, wake up" I felt Newt shake my body softly and I woke up to him looking at me with a worrying face.

"What's wrong Newtie?" I was barely awake I could barely open my eyes.

"Your bleeding" he lifted up the blanket and underneath me was a puddle of blood.

"SHUCK!" I jumped out of bed realising that I was on my period. Newt got out of bed slowly trying to not touch my puddle.

"Ivy, are you alright?" He touched my arm and turned my around looking at my pants and the blood going down my legs.

"I forgot." I had my hands over my face. "I completely forgot!" I grab my blanket and put it in between my legs "I'm such a shucking SLINTHEAD!" I started panicking so bad but Newt pulled me towards him and pulled me in tightly making me feel a bit better.

"Your not a slinthead Ivy, it's ok" he wrapped the blanket around me and held it tightly. "What do you need me to get?" He moved my hand from my mouth to holding the blanket around me and he let go.

"I need you to look around the supplies they brought up last month. Look for some pads or tampons or just anything I can use. I can't believe I forgot that girls have periods" I was shaking so bad because I can't remember having periods before the glade so I forgot all about this. All I remember is how girls deal with periods.

"Ok, baby I'll be right back. Everything's ok. I'll run as fast as I can!" He quickly ran out of my room shutting the door behind him so no one can see me and ran so fast. After a minute I heard footsteps outside the door. Then I heard a knock.

"Ivy? It's me, is everything ok? I heard you shouting" Thomas was standing outside my door while I was standing in my vest and pants with a blanket around the bottom of my body and blood everywhere. I could still feel it flowing out of me. This is the heaviest period I think I've ever had.

I think.

I can't remember.

"Yes! I'm ok Thomas, do you know where Newt is?" I shout out desperately needing Newt to be back as soon as he can.

"I just saw his run over to where the supplies are kept. Is everything alright? He was running pretty fast" Thomas is like a brother to me so I walked over to the door and opened it a little bit and poked my head out.

"No. I'm on my period and I need to Newt to be back right now." I say with a tear dropping from my eye. Thomas looked shocked but also looked like he wanted to help.

"Do you want me to stay with you? I'll just sit out here while we wait for Newt." He wiped the tear off my face.

"Yes please. Thank you" I sat on my blanket shutting the door with my back to the door and Talked to Thomas. "I forgot. This is my first period since being in the glade and I can't remember dealing with it before the glade so it's all coming to me as a shock right now!" Blood was coming out of me gradually now. It wasn't as bad as when I stood up a minute ago. I need Newt to be back right now.

"Calm down, I can see Newt running over right now he will be here in a minute!" I could tell Thomas was panicking a bit too. I sighed as a relief. I hope he's got everything I need.

"Thanks Thomas, I've got it from here" I heard Newt outside and so I backed away from the door so he could come inside. Newt barely opened the door and squeezed through the tiny gap he gave himself so that no one can see inside the room.

"I found this thing." He had a box in his hand. "Alby and Gally didn't know what it was so they put it at the back of the storage room" he passed me the box and stood there breathing heavily while I opened the box. Inside was everything I needed. Pads, tampons and a... "WHAT" Newt jumped a bit.

"What's wrong now baby?" He looked inside the box and realised.

"Pregnancy tests?" Inside the box there were also pregnancy tests which made me shocked. "Why would they think..." I looked at Newt and he was as confused as I was.

"Probably just in case?" Newt said.

"Yeah." I looked at myself covered in blood and back at Newt. "Can you get me some spare pants and help me out to the toilets. I don't want anyone to see me like this" I stood up holding the box and my blanket still around me and as Newt grabbed some pants and trousers I opened the door. "Everyone's awake." Everyone was out of their beds hanging around and talking while getting dressed.

"Don't worry I'll deal with it" Newt wakes out the door and shouted at everyone. "What the bloody hell are you all doing? Get to work" he's so cute when he's angry. I'm so lucky to have him. He came back inside and helped me walk out of the room without being seen by everyone. They all rushed to go do there jobs straight away after Newt shouted at them. I don't think Newt cares what they think about him when it comes to me, that's what I like about him. As soon as I got to the toilets I had a shower and Newt took my bloody blanket and pants to the cleaners. I don't mind people knowing. I am a girl after all. It's just a bit embarrassing, everything that's happened this morning.
