"Mahal na hari!" the little girl giggled when she saw the king. Even it's her first time to see him, alam niyang ito ang hari. Bukambibig at minsan ng ipinakita ng kaniyang pinsan na si Nami sa kaniya ang guhit nito sa kaniya.
Hawak ng batang babae ang laylayan ng cute na kulay pink na dress, halatang nahihirapan itong naglalakad pataas sa maraming baitang ng hagdan, pero nagawa pa rin nitong salubungin ng ngiti ang hari.
"Oh! Hello, little girl," the king lift her up when he approached her, and then the child cutely giggled again.
"What is your name, little kid?" the king asked the child.
"I'm Narni! I'm four years old! And I'm turning to 5!" she beamed while showing her little hands on the king.
"Oh! Your so adorable, Narni.." marahang humalakhak ang hari habang bitbit siyang bumaba sa engrandeng hagdanan ng palasyo.
"My cousin said is right!" namamanghang saad ng bata habang nakatingin sa mukha ng haring may suot na pulang kapa.
His lips is red like blood, his eye brow and eye lashes are thick and long, malamig din at matalim ang kulay abong mga mata nito ngunit nawawala kapag hindi sumisimangot. Matangos ang ilong at makinis ang mukha, even his skin are pale and he always looks serious, mysterious, intimadating, and authoritive, he looks perfectly handsome!
"Why? What's your cousin told you?" the king asked.
"That your handsome!" nakangiting saad ng bata na ikinahalakhak ulit ng marahan ng hari.
"And you are more handsome when you are laughing!" the kid exclaimed when she saw how the kings face became soft when he's laughing.
"Silly kid," ginulo nito ang buhok ng bata.
"Why are you here by the way? Wala bang nagbabantay sa iyo? Where's your parents?" the king asked again at ibinaba ang bata ng huminto sila sa ibaba ng mahabang hagdanan.
"T-Tinakasan ko po si Mama," nakalabing saad ng bata at nakagat ang labi.
"That's bad, Narni. You should just told to your mother that you'll roamed around. Where is your mother? I will bring you to her."
"She's one of the servant po. B-But," namula ang mga mata ng bata. "You are a king r-right?" namumula ang matambok nitong pisngi, pero ngayon ay pati ang ilong at mga mata ay namumula na rin sa pagpigil ng pag-iyak.
"Yeah, why are you asking?" lumuhod ang hari sa harapan ni Narni. At hinaplos ang mahaba at maalong buhok nito.
"Can you tell Mama... that she won't scold me? My ears will surely break if she'll scold me again." napayuko ang bata at kinusot ang mga mata.
The king chuckled because he find the kid so adorable.
"Your mother will surely scold you because you didn't let her know that you will go around." naaliw na saad ng hari habang nakangiti sa bata.
"And by the way, why did you know that I am a king? A little girl like you is impossible to know things like that,"
"Sa pinsan ko rin po," the kid answered while pouting her lips. "Sabi niya sobrang gwapo mo po, and she also show me your face in her painting!"
"Really? Your cousin can paint? How old is she?" tumayo ang hari at hinawakan siya sa kamay.
"She's already 20 years old! She's beautiful and smart! And she's studying in Lamia University!" hyper na sabi ng bata at tumalon-talon.
