CHAPTER 16 - TRUST EQUALS BETRAYAL

In my 14 years of existence, I only felt this feeling twice. The feeling that you want to do something, but hesitates, then tries to get in contact with the others but doesn't know how to start the conversation, and the feeling that your chest is being tightened, your breath become heavy and you want to cry but tears aren't available as of the moment.

I felt this feeling first, when Riann was almost kidnapped when we were kids, and now, when Dwaynell suddenly disappeared as if he's a cloud of smoke.

My hands are cold, numb, and are shaking. I sweat a lot and I look like someone who was splashed in the face with water. I'm in short of breath, as if I just ran a mile.

With my lips quivering and my hands shaking, I pressed the microphone button at the chapel.

"G-Guys..." I stated. They all looked at the speaker, where my voice came from. "G-Guys..."

"What is it Bea?!" Riann asked.

Nagawi ang tingin ko sa CCTV, na nasa tabi lang ng CCTV ng Chapel, at napatakip ako ng aking bibig nung may nakita akong mga killers na unti-unting pinapalibutan ang chapel.

Ibinagsak ko ang aking mga kamay sa keyboard, at biglang may lumitaw na parang 'search bar' sa main monitor.

I was bewildered kung para saan ang ito. Pero I decided to type a message for the students and my friends inside, baka-sakaling makakarating sa kanila.

Guys, this is Bea.

I know I did sacrifices more than ten students back then, but I have a progressing plan in mind. Now, read this message carefully and DO NOT PANIC. Okay, Dwaynell, our friend, disappeared while I was monitoring the Abandoned Building. I don't know how he disappeared but when the killers separated from each other, he was nowhere to be seen.

Ngayon, kapag babasahin niyo na ang part na ito, 'wag kayong matakot dahil hahanap ako ng paraan upang maitakas kayo mula diyan. Killers surrounded the exits and entrances of the Holy Chapel, there's no escape routes and if you'll not escape there within 5-10 minutes, tiyak na mapapasok kayo diyan.

So all of you must remain calm and find some possible escape routes and I'll do the same while monitoring the killers. I'll send you messages to alert you or update you, dahil kapag magm-microphone ako, maririnig nila ako mula sa labas.

I clicked send and a 'sent' word appeared out of nowhere. Tinignan ko ang CCTV ng Chapel, at laking tuwa ko nung nag pop up ang mensahe ko para sa kanila. They didn't read it aloud, thank goodness!

Dwight tried to swipe the monitor and it revealed a section where you can compose messages, too. Wow, salamat naman! He started typing and after several seconds, he sent the message.

I looked at the CCTV outside the Chapel, and the killers are trying to unlock the chapel doors. Fortunately, only one specific key could unlock the padlocks on the exits and entrances of the chapel, and it's with Dwight.
