CHAPTER 9 - FIGURE IT OUT

"Oh, What a foolish thing to do!" Riann said, dalang-dala sa pinapanood.
"Gan'to na nga sitwasyon, pati movies na pinapanuod niyo patayan rin?" I asked.
"Why not?" Dwight responded.
"Huh?" Dwaynell asked, representing me, I guess.
"I mean, it's fun. Kaysa romantic-teen fiction-drama you girls watch every time." Dwight replied.
"Wow! It's my first time to hear you talk about things that aren't related to your genius self." I mockingly said and chuckled.
I shook my head while smiling and pouring the fresh lemon-water into the glass from the pitcher. It's almost twenty-four hours after that breath-taking game. We already ate lunch in the cafeteria and now we're at Dwaynell's dorm - our dorm. He already told us to treat his unit as our own. We just brought our things, cleaned up, and organized this huge dorm room for us to breathe in this kind of situation.
Breakfast and lunch are served in the cafeteria just like how they serve lunch meals when this school was a normal one. We don't even know where, when, and how they buy ingredients and even the food itself for everyday in this locked down school. Actually, kaunti na lang ang mga kumakain dito sa cafeteria ng nasa tamang oras ng breakfast at lunch, maybe they're scared. And at dinner, since the so-called game 'Hide or Die' starts at 6 PM, we stacked our unit with dinner meals, and snacks of course.
Sanay na kami sa routine rito. Kahit may mga bagong pangyayari sa bawat araw, handa man kami o hindi, kinakaya naman namin.
"Punta tayo gym," Pag-aya ni Edward
"Why?" Riann asked.
"Magbubuhat siguro ako ng dumbbell," Edward teased, "Tambay lang!"
"Okay lang, maaga pa naman." Dwaynell agreed.
"Tara," All of us stood up, except Riann.
"Ano?" I raised a brow on her.
"Natatakot ako," Masungit niyang sagot sa 'kin.
"'Wag kang matakot! 'Kala mo namang hindi pa tayo nakikipagsapalaran ng ilang beses sa life-and-death situation natin everyday!" Edward loudly said.
"Lakas boses, bro, ah," Dwaynell put his hands on Edward's shoulder and they both laughed a little bit.
"It's 2 PM, no worries, we're safe." Dwight told Riann.
Riann crossed his arms and scoffed, and sighed, after. "Okay." She said and stood up.
Paalis na sana kami nang maalala kong 'di ko pa dala ang phone ko. Ibinalik na sa amin 'yung mga cellphones namin kahapon pagkatapos ng game.
"Wait," I said.
"What?" They asked.
"My phone, wait." I said and walked into the small dining table of this dorm unit to get my phone. After I took my cellphone, I immediately walked towards them while holding my phone.
