◇Sasuke POV◇
It's been about a week since that previous mission and the rest of Team 7 and I are training. It's mostly a casual training session mostly sparring. But that one jutsu Naruto used where wind just came from his hand was quite
I hadn't activated my sharingan to learn the technique so I'd just have to ask Kakashi-sensei. I dodged one of Sakura punches and tried to trip her instead.
She jumped over it barely missed a kick from me. I jumped back into a fighting stance quickly and punched her in the face. That punch was followed by a combo of moves knocking her out of the circle.
Sakura sighed at her defeat and offered the unison sign. I accepted and at least tried to smile at her. I had never done this type of thing before but there's a first time for everything.
We ended our training and parted ways for the rest of the day. I casually strolled through Konoha not really paying attention to much of anything.
That is until I heard a happy squeal and some rapid footsteps from the Hokage's Office. Hinata came running out of the doors with a joyful squeak.
"Sasuke..!" Her face a filled with joy and excitement. "I finally became a jonin!"
She twirled around in her new jonin outfit and laughed to herself a bit. Unlike her, I was still a chunin.
"Wow your a jonin?" I questioned slightly embarrassed that I wasn't as well. She quickly nodded.
"That's cool." I chuckled.
"Thanks! I'll see you soon Sasuke!"
I waved her bye but I couldn't help but notice that she didn't stutter once in the entire conversation.
Even though my training was supposed to be over, I had plans. I quickly hopped to where I thought Kakashi-sensei would be, and luckily I found him.
"Kakashi-sensei," I started he momentarily diverted his attention off of his book. "I want to learn a new technique."
"Really now?" He asked. "What type?"
"Anything that might work against Naruto."
"Hm..." he pondered. "Well it would have to be a fire style, but I'm thinking we could change it up a bit. Follow me"
I trailed behind him into an area with a gigantic waterfall. What type of training would need a waterfall? Or maybe we're here for the amount of space there is.
"Alright Sasuke, what I'm thinking, is a different version of the Chidori."
"And what does this have to do with improving my Fire Style?" I asked.
"Simple, well not really simple... you're going to combine your fire and lightning styles into one jutsu."
"A Kekkai Genkai huh."
"Precisely, and it will be a wide-range jutsu as well."
"Hn."
"To start, you already know how to channel your Chidori into a type of barrier around you, correct?" He started.
I nodded in response.
"Good, what I want you to do is first create the same outburst, but with flames."
I began to understand the type of jutsu I would be practicing. Kakashi-sensei went back to reading his book as he waited for results. I sighed softly.
I was obviously better at lightning style than fire style, so it might be a challenge. I try to channel my fire chakra all over my body, but it only created a faint almost pathetic layer.
