A/N Thank you all so much for 100k reads! I'm really glad that you like this story, and I hope you keep reading!
I can't be entirely sure about what just hit me, all I know was that it was definitely blunt force. Most likely Sakura, if I know her well enough. Her punches hurt consistently. I paid attention to my surroundings once again. Sakura can't be far away from me, but seeing as she left Sasuke's side, he's been healed.
Chances are that he's still stunned from Danzo's ✨incredible✨ reveal. Another punch collided with my back sending me flying once again. As she goes for another hit, I grab her arm and guide her punch at the nearby ground. To my slight horror, a massive sphere shaped hole appears.
I nonchalantly pushed her inside of the crater and summon shadow clones to keep her busy. As much as I'd prefer to kill Sasuke right now, I agreed to work with Tobi and I don't go back on my word.
I used some wind to propel myself forward and kick Danzo in the back. It was blocked by one of his arms, but he still skidded across the ground. Kakashi's saying..something and Sai follows close behind. I have to hurry before I get stuck again like last time.
I connected a paper bomb with a kunai, and throw it at Danzo, only for it to be blocked by Sai's ink. Danzo released a cutting whirlwind towards me before turning back around again. This is an issue, being attacked from both sides will end with me losing.
I released a Kashina in Kakashi and Sai's direction, blowing Sai far away from the current battle. Afterwards, I ran towards Kakashi with a wind-infused kunai in hand. He blocked my first attack, but I kick him in the stomach.
I barely missed cutting his face as he dodged. "I'm sorry, Naruto.." he mumbles.
"Thanks, I've been waiting for that for a whil-"
Kakashi pulled up the headband over his left eye, revealing a glowing sharingan. A mangekyo sharingan at that! I shudder as I look into his eyes. A wave a red washed over me until I collapsed. What a cheap trick.
-3rd Person POV-
Kakashi sighed sadly as Naruto fell to the ground, fully unconscious. Danzo swiftly turned around and smirked at the aftermath. Sai stumbled back to the area Naruto had fallen at. Danzo heaved in a relieved breath. "It's about time." He smiled, "Sai, go get the others."
Sai hesitantly nodded before walking away. Kakashi looked down at Naruto, if only he'd been a better teacher. Maybe, he could have kept teaching Naruto. There was no way to go back in time though, and if he got the chance to, he wouldn't.
If only he hadn't given him so many reason to leave. It wasn't long before Sai and Sakura returned with a few other ANBU agents. Sakura crossed her arms a let out a small sigh. "Sasuke, decided to stay near the conference building, though the other kages asked that the rest of the meeting be rescheduled," Sakura explained.
Kakashi absently nodded and watched as Naruto was carried away. He hated that he had to use his sharingan, but there was no other way anyone could reason with him. Eventually, the crowd of ANBU cleared away, and the remainder of Team 7 walked back in Sasuke's direction.
Sasuke leaned back against a side of the massive gray brick bridge. "Sasuke, the Hokage meeting was cancelled, we can go back to Konoha now." Sai explained. Sasuke stood up in acknowledgement, but was surprisingly silent overall. It wasn't long before the shinobi headed back into the forest and skipped through the trees once again. Naruto's fate was unclear, he was both a member of the Akatsuki and the son of a Hokage.
