As soon as Naruto spoke, a flurry of sharp winds were released from Naruto's hands. I managed to block them from Danzo, but it was only a moment until he closed in for close combat. I had been put in a tight situation.
Multiple sets of kunai were constantly being thrown at Danzo, and whenever I stepped in to protect him, I would suffer a hard blow from Naruto. But on the inside, I knew it wasn't his best.
"Danzo~sama, you have to go, now!" I demanded. Danzo left without a single complaint. It wasn't enough though. The moment I saw a reddish blur fly past me, I knew it was too late.
I turned around and saw that Naruto held a knife to Danzo's throat and left both of them in a position where Naruto could sit on the ground effortlessly.
"Hey, you see this?" He began as he tapped Danzo's covered arm,"Can someone's arm be broken for that long? Don't you want to know what's under?" His words were given in such a way as to taunt me, but I did want to know what he could be hiding underneath it.
What I didn't expect was for Naruto to take out a second kunai and try to slash through Danzo's covered arm. Another thing I didn't expect was for him to be seemingly blasted away. His back collided with a tree. I took the opportunity to shoot a lightning bolt at him, but he moved away just before it could make contact.
"How do you think Danzo did that?" Naruto asked. I didn't want the answer to the questions Naruto was asking. I continued fighting him, making sure that Danzo was unharmed. As we continued, we began to move towards a bridge. Naruto basically chased Danzo to where we were. The battle intensified from there.
As soon as the space opened, Naruto released a larger, piercing, burst of wind. There was no way I could block both the wind and Danzo without losing so much energy. It seemed like Danzo was just trying to stick around.
I turned behind to see where Danzo was and I saw the wraps on his arm begin to wither. He desperately turned and tried to face his arm away from the blast. In a moment's notice, Naruto appeared behind me and held a kunai to my eye.
"You aren't going to let this happen, are you? Especially when you can get another sharingan from it." Naruto seemed to be talking to Danzo. Danzo looked distressed but didn't move. "Alright then!" Naruto brought his kunai back and swiftly sent it towards my eye.I flinched but could barely move.
Suddenly, the kunai was knocked away by a foreign blast coming from Danzo's direction. "Would you look at that, Sasuke," Naruto sighed. Danzo's right arm was completely white and on it were many different variations of the sharingan.
Danzo..Konoha they took my family's eyes..? I've been helping someone who stole my clan's eyes. "How could y-" I was cut off as I felt myself being stabbed in the side. Naruto casually walked back in front of me as the pain forced me to collapse.
Was I really always going to fall in front of Naruto. Is he going to see how weak I am all the time? No. I want to be on par with him, I have a mangekyo sharingan as well.
"Sasuke!" I heard from behind me. I recognized their voice almost instantly. "S-Sakura.." I groaned. Sakura quickly kneeled over me and began to close the wound. I couldn't support Danzo any longer, not after that. I could see Naruto's reasoning for leaving the village.
-Naruto POV-
I stepped past Sasuke and rushed at Danzo, easily slicing one of his sharingans. Nice. He grumbled in frustration and used a wind release jutsu in an attempt to push me back. I blocked it with a wind shield of my own.
As I attempted to attack again, I sensed 3 other presences behind me. I speedily glance behind me and my old team comes into view. Great. Sakura quickly crouched near Sasuke and began to heal him.
It would be best to move my battle with Danzo away, but it wasn't easy. Before I had a chance I heard Kakashi behind me as well. I groaned slightly making sure to completely ignore what he was saying. Danzo clearly thought of me as a weapon and nothing more.
Maybe it would be best to stun him before my other enemies started to attack me. It wasn't going to be that easy though, whether I admitted it or not, Kakashi was dangerous and I was technically fighting a higher-up.
It wasn't long before a long line of ink appeared in near my feet. I placed my feet carefully to dodge the snake-line line that followed me. The real issue was that the more I fought with Sai, the more time Danzo had to run away. As a maneuvered more, I sensed a fist coming near my head.
I caught Kakashi's forearm, but it caused me to trip on one of the lines of loose ink. It quickly began to wrap around one of my legs forcing me into a stand-still. Kakashi looks down at me.
"Naruto..I understand you, but that is no excuse to hurt our Hokage representative," Kakashi explains. "He is not someone who should represent your village.." I sigh bluntly. Though, suddenly I feel the wrap around my leg be released. I quickly kick Kakashi away before going back to towards Danzo.
I look back to see the reason why I was freed. I smirk as I see Sasuke near Sai, arguing about Danzo. How easy. I flip in Danzo's direction and take out another one of his sharingan.
As I try to take out another one, I suddenly feel a massive force hit the back of my head, causing my mind to fade out.
