☆Naruto POV☆

I groaned in pain as my world began to fade. A curse mark tattooed onto my skin began to drain almost all the chakra I had.

"Soon Naruto, you will come to me for power..." Orochimaru said.

He disappeared and left me on the forest floor unable to move.

Kit, this thing is strong, but I might be able to seal it.

And how long will that take...

Maybe 5 weeks, I didn't say it would be quick.

Naruto.

Damn it, if he can't talk to me now the curse mark has something to do with it, no doubt. Damn that Orochimaru.

My eyes began to droop and I soon lost consciousness. What if someone found me? What if they killed me? Or worse, turned me in? Damn it, there's nothing I could do. For once in your life Tobi, help me!

♤Sasuke POV♤

My team and I had just received an urgent call for backup from Kakashi-sensei's temporary team. Captain Yamato, Sakura, Sai and I left the village rapidly.

Hopefully, my new technique would be of use. It wouldn't take long to get to wherever they were so we didn't need to take any breaks.

○Time Skip○

We could see the terrain that Tsunade described, and not long after we could hear the sound of jutsu, specifically fire.

Soon enough, I could see the battlefield for myself. There was an Akatsuki with odd... maybe I shouldn't guess, I'll make myself vomit.

Shikamaru was gone and I couldn't help but notice there was only one Akatsuki when they worked in groups of two.

Kakashi-sensei, Ino, and Choji were still there though

I quickly readied my Chidori and made my comrades aware that I had come.

"Sasuke, you're here!" Ino exclaimed relieved.

"I am, now get back!" I commanded.

Kakashi-sensei's team agreed and moved at out the way, leaving me and the Akatsuki face to face. I had a bitter anger for the Akatsuki. In my opinion, they had taken my friend, and turned him into a cold, murderous, enemy.

I turned my normal Chidori into a blazing Chidori and dashed at the mysterious enemy. Though I made a normal Chidori, I planned to make it a long ranged attack when I got closer.

One of the string-like monsters behind him opened its mouth, as though preparing to use a jutsu. I figured I should defeat him now.

I sent a blast of my Blazing Chidori straight to his heart, sending a wave of fire outwards. That was the first time I tested my Moeru Chidori on a human. And boy did it work!

☆Naruto POV☆

My eyes fluttered open, as I look up at a familiar room. The healing room we had at our base. Sadly, nobody in the Akatsuki knew medical ninjutsu.

saw Konan standing above me talking to someone else. The curse mark I had gotten began draining my chakra again.
