Jakes POV
When you just see darkness for a while you might....
WaKe uP!
And I did, I missed my last period class and dreamt I had went to it. And... I was on the bathroom floor. I jumped up and went to the sink and washed my face.
"What are you still doing here?" I heard someone say from behind me.
I turned to find someone I didn't recognize.
"I don't know," I said.
"Well then you better go home then," They said, and pointed to the exit.
"OK-" I stopped. "Then what are you doing here?"
They didn't even flash emotion.
"I'm waiting for my mom to get off of work," They said.
"Does she work here?"
"Yes."
I didn't know what else to do so I just walked out of the bathroom.
I had to walk home.
I was still a little sluggish from the nap. Then there was a sudden phone ringing. I picked it up.
It was Hailey's voice.
I am so sorry for it taking so long. Just was a little busy with school and stuff. Its not much but its honest work. Hoped you like it. More chapters will be out soon.
