There were several loud shouts and of course other screams of love towards a certain blonde exorcist. Of which, a certain vampire could only watch from the entrance of the getabako alongside Kou who scratched his cheek awkwardly. Both vampire and little brother knew of Teru's popularity but this was just... on another level.
"Nee-chan, are you and Nii-chan gonna be okay?" The younger Minamoto worried inquired as he saw the number of people approaching Teru grow by the second. On the other hand, he questioned that though the girl he had grown up with was quite beautiful, she wasn't receiving as much attention as his brother. It was weird to him.
"I'll be fine, I still have your brother's enchantment on me. Worry about Teru more. Wonder how many bags he'll need today." The last bit was murmured under breath because it was true that though today was indeed a certain holiday, the eldest Minamoto child still received confessions every other day.
Kou walked with Yumeko to her own shoe locker as he continued to watch the scene with his brother. Despite Yumeko's low expectations about receiving anything, as she opened the small locker, a few letters and bags with chocolate and other candy spilled out...
The blonde turned his attention back to his older sister who was now staring at the floor. His blue orbs look down, only for him to deadpan at the sight.
Early on, Yumeko had asked Teru to place an enchantment on her, as to not catch attention as being a vampire caused humans to become entranced by the otherworldly appearance. However, this was more for their own safety (so Teru would believe) and it would keep her in check.
However, Teru's enchantments could only go so far. Because as her classmates spent more time in her presence, at times her presence grew to be much grander than anyone realized and thus even the teacher upfront would pause for a moment when teaching and stare at the silver haired vampire before resuming back to their teaching as though they were getting out of a trance. Though sometimes, all it required was a touch and those students would be smitten.
It was why Yumeko was a bit confused by how that enchantment worked. One moment they could be confessing their love and admiration to her before snapping out of their daze and returning to their seats. However, she paid it no heed as she would continue to do as she pleased and wouldn't be bothered much.
So despite the charm doing its work, there were still times when someone would overpower it and thus, the current situation. Tiredly, the vampire sighed and took a spare bag from inside her school bag, wanting to pick up the fallen items.
"Nee-chan do you want some help?" Kou smiled warily at his older sister as he knelt beside her to help put the letters and goody bags away. He was thankful that her amount of gifts was not piling up as high compared to his brothers but he wondered how the older girl felt about it. She was certainly pretty, she could probably have whichever suitor she wanted.
