"Why is it so hot?" A delicate hand pulls at the collar of her uniform, hoping to alleviate some of the warmth she felt but alas, it was all in vain. Though she was thankful for the shorter hours at school, the vampire was not the biggest fan of the summer season.

The heat made her more irritable and the sun rays were much more powerful. If she didn't take proper care on the way to and from school, she'd arrive very sunburnt; having chosen to wear the summer uniform to feel the heat less, but leaving her arms vulnerable. Not a fun experience. Not to mention the heat itself. Yumeko absolutely hated summer. She was only thankful the student council room did come equipped with an A/C unit, allowing temporary relief from the blistering heat and humidity.

A rolled booklet hit her head harshly, making the girl clutch her head, rubbing her fingers in gentle circles to alleviate the pain. "Mother of—! Teru! That hurt!"

The blonde simply smiled, no remorse showing on his face. "Please refrain from showing an unsightly appearance." While the boy was also not the most pleased in needing to attend school during such horrid temperatures, he could endure it much better than the vampire liked to complain about it. However, he was still a guy, even he would get flustered at the amount of skin the vampire was showing (not that he would allow her to have knowledge of that fact).

Yumeko pouted, it was hot and though the air was slightly refreshing inside the room, just the thought of having to go back outside and suffer from the heat made her want to finish the day's paperwork even slower. Rather, she wasn't even doing the paperwork, Teru always did it faster alone anyway. She was only pretending to be paying attention to the paperwork in front of her. If anything, she was only making sure Alane didn't suffer as much at the hands of the blonde second year.

He had mentioned once before, he worked faster by himself but he also worked faster the more his stress was relieved. Which was often solved by teasing Akane, usually by having his prayer bead bracelet disable the younger boy from moving or as what happened most recently, the prank wherein Akane fell into the floor due to a trap door opening underneath. It was comical to see the poor boy thinking Teru wouldn't continue his pranks but alas, he thought too soon.

"Sorry Akane-san but as much as I'd like to help, I'd rather not have him pranking me." The vampire opened up a book and began reading, skimming here and there before turning the page. This is how the three would spend most of the afternoon.

"Oh, that reminds me. Teru, Tiara mentioned wanting to go to a nearby festival one of these days. Something about going on a date with you and seeing the fireworks together." Teru stopped his typing and glanced at the vampire, her own focus solely on the book in front of her. He watched as her fingers turned the page and as her eyes moved, reading through tje page.

"Princess did? What about Kou?" Of course mentioning his siblings would always grab his attention.

The nickname for the youngest Minamoto child was cute, though she'd have to admit her birth was a surprise. Yumeko was a bit horrified by the fact human children spend nine months in the womb before entering the world but she also found it fascinating to see a life forming slowly. As the youngest grew, Yumeko became a bit more endeared with her, though the child would always adore Teru the most.

"I think Kou mentioned something about going with his friends? Think he might have finally got the guts to ask that first year girl though. Yashiro, I think her name was? And yes, do ask Tiara if she wants to go with you to see the fireworks or something."

The vampire closed her book. She learned nothing and it was starting to bore her now. Looking in Teru's direction, Yumeko caught the boy staring at her before going back to working on his own paperwork. Had he been staring for a while?
