Yumeko hadn't gone home. Teru questioned where the older girl had gone but Kou had not seen her since he had left her in the infirmary. The young boy had planned on going in search of the silver haired girl after classes were over but he had gotten distracted. Needless to say, he could not find any trace of the girl or ghost whom Kou had left his sister with.
Teru wanted answers as well but perhaps giving the girl some cooling time would be best, not just for him but for everyone. Worst case scenario, he could corner her at school. However, he knew of the repercussions if he did that so he'd rather catch her alone.
There was a delicate balance the two shared. He had awoken her so long ago, thinking she was another exorcist, her aura proving to be different than that of a ghost and everyone(the adults) he knew had spoken of her somehow before. Because of a mistake he made, she bore partial consequences to it. Some of which made her bound to the Minamoto household for a certain length of time.
It wasn't that he hated her. Far from it actually. But rather than hate her, he couldn't quite understand his feelings for her just yet.
It was true that she was not an apparition, far from it. But she was in a similar league to them and for that, he couldn't quite figure out where to place her. She wasn't family and yet she wasn't his enemy. Dare he say, he might actually like the young vampire.

"I wanna keep sleeping." Drowsily the vampire looked at Tsuchigomori, who had come by to drop off a new uniform and wake up the sleeping vampire for class. He wasn't aware of the full details, only of what Hanako had mentioned to him. He could have just read her book but he was unaware of who exactly this child was.
She had been up all night and was just about to finally sleep, seeing as the sun was beginning to rise. As luck would have it, she would have to remain awake for the next couple of hours.
She would have taken a nap after that fight with Teru but she had spent part of the afternoon with Hanako and giving slight explanation on what had happened to her after the last time they had seen each other.
"Sensei, Hanako sent you didn't he?" Yumeko sat on a chair near him. She had practically skipped out on morning classes and ended up hiding out in the library.
The teacher gave her a glance over, noticing the droop in her eyes, the grogginess of her voice. Why had he agreed to watch over her in the first place? He didn't understand what Hanako was thinking but for now, he wouldn't complain about it.
"You're in my boundary for now, Seven-sama only mentioned to hide you from the older Minamoto for today. Don't get too comfortable. Speaking of which, it's time for that other brat's class. I'll be back later."
He turned to leave, leaving the young vampire to her own devices before sparing one final glance. "By the way, don't touch any of the books."
Yumeko pouted, if she was going to be trapped in there for some time, why couldn't she find her own entertainment. Her abdomen hurt, the wound she had previously received throbbed as it came into contact with her uniform. Should she change bandages? It felt like too much of a hassle. Well, at least she could nap some more. . . .
There was a loud noise, waking Yumeko from her slumber. Yawning, the teenager sat up dazed. What was going on? Hadn't the two apparitions told her boundaries were safe places?
Tiny steps were taken, looking curiously at the spines of the books that lay across all the shelves. Most of the ones her limited view saw were black, a few white ones in between. How peculiar, she thought. The rumors are true but then, what about the so-called red books?
