Its been a tough year but i cant thank everyone who has read and showed support enough for doing so. You have my gratitude!
Ok so the reason i took so long to upload the final was mainly cuz i didnt know how to really end it? like the amount of times i thought about it as a whole, i just wanted to delete the whole thing and start again but aint got the energy for it (though that doesnt mean i dont want to revise it) tbh i also took so long to upload because i wanted to finish all four chapters (the final, epilogue and two extra chapters) but school is just so draining,
Originally this was not going to be a Teru fic but i noticed the lack of Teru and told myself, guess i gotta make the content i wanna see. While the original plot was supposed to be Hanako x OC there would still be elements with the other characters. However I noticed a lot of similarities so i wanted to see something different and thus Yumeko was born... She was gonna be a spirit of sorts but then i started watching blood-c and some other anime and i was just like, what if 🤔
tbh though! i wrote this without any proper planning lol. so every chapter was either written the day(night) of it being published or it would be written within a few days. initially did plan on mapping out chapters but then i just said fck it and so that's pretty much why there's so many inaccuracies and inconsistencies within some chapters. oop, so despite all the inaccuracies, i really was going with flow
Uh, i hope i did well with Teru's character in general... my problem with other fics where teru was the main interest was the oocness in them for the most part. They were lovely to read, don't get me wrong but in canon teru is sadistic and cruel or just a bit mean towards spirits/apparitions(minus the mokke because tiara likes them) but towards humans he's sort of aloof? He has this great love for his family though but in school he's seen as the prince? that everyone loves and he's so kind and polite and basically perfect at whatever he does. though i didn't capture every single detail i hope i did ok...
Speaking of that, its also kinda why i dragged on him confessing,, and well, when you think about it, they aren't the picture perfect type of couple. Its more or less yumeko being dependent on his company and teru using her mainly to keep an eye on kou and protect him and tiara when needed. but with the whole bond and her brothers coming into the picture he had to actually think about what he wanted with the vampire. In the star festival chapter, where he thinks of himself as a villain, its kinda true? cuz she could have escaped with his help but instead she's left as a pseudo prisoner... but truthfully he doesn't want to lose her. i thought about it for some time and couldnt come to a final "this will be continuously happy"
It was actually really amusing to see everyone's reaction to him finally admitting having feelings, you guys were really funnyksksjdjd
omg if i rewrite how long would it take for him to confess i wonder lol btw this is one of the few yumeko drawings i did in case anyone was curious about her. im not the best artist but i wanted some more visualization for her
