Perhaps it was because of their usual routine or perhaps it could be that the vampire was secretly a masochist, but now that both she and Teru were together, their closeness was odd. The young vampire never thought she would be able to truly have a relationship with the exorcist. If she were to be completely honest, everything always pointed that their relationship would be a disaster...His hatred and mistreatment. Her blindness and naivety. The two clashed every so often that sometimes she wondered if she would meet her demise then and there and yet. Against the odds, the oldest Minamoto child had actually fallen for her, a supernatural with human form.
Ha, what kind of romance novel would that make. Not a very good one.
Yumeko sighed thinking about it. It was now summer vacation and yet, she had nothing to do. While she could do the summer assignments assigned, then there wouldn't be anything for her to do for the rest of break, even if she wanted to go on a date with Teru, he would most likely turn her down.
She frowned thinking about it. He confessed to her right as she was distancing herself. But while she was elated about his feelings, she was also highly confused. Her phone vibrated quietly, breaking her train of thought.
She reached across her desk for it before opening it up and seeing Teru's name flash on the screen. Speak of the devil.
'Go on a date with me?'
The vampire froze as her eyes read and reread the inquiry. Was this really real? Was THE Teru Minamoto really asking her out on a date??? Whilst her mind was slowly coming to terms that it was indeed a real text, her hands were already typing away a reply. She'd be a fool to reject a date with the person she liked.
'Great. I'll meet you at xx station in 2 hours.'
Though the vampire was not a fan of the train, it couldn't be helped. The home she and her brothers resided in was much further in the outskirts of town. Now to dress up, find a matching parasol to hide away from the sun and she'd be off on her way.
Yumeko frowned, what to do with her hair? Her bangs covered her forehead but just leaving her hair down didn't feel right. Was she thinking too much about it? Perhaps she should style it... In the end, she only put her hair in mid high pigtails.
Now the person who stared back at her didn't even look like her, had she dressed too fancy? Was it not enough?
It was during times like this that the vampire wished she had an elder sister or even a motherly figure to help guide her with these choices. But she was left with two older brothers, whom she hardly even saw nowadays, and her poor choices. Hopefully, it wouldn't attract negative attention.

As Yumeko walked out of the train, her eyes flickered to the exits, in attempts to locate the one Teru had told her. Her phone was packed away in her bag, she didn't want to reach out and look through it just for a few seconds to find the correct exit.
Her parasol was opened just before she was outside, being careful not to hurt any passerbyers. As she turned, she saw a tuft of blonde hair leaning against a nearby pillar. A smile grew on her lips as she began to walk faster.
Though it was strange to admit, she was glad that even if for a moment, she could enjoy her time with Teru. Like a normal couple.
"I'm sorry, did you wait long?"
Yumeko shyly twirled the parasol's handle as she stood in front of the blue eyed teen. "No, I just got here." He'd actually been on the same train as the vampire but as he knew where he was going, he managed to evade her for a moment.
